I have a blade of mine, one a friend left here and.... my PC tower. Juust great. I don't want to get into knife-range with a zombie and a rig isn't really the best CQB weapon. Oh and three pairs of shoes.

A three-legged metal table. So I'll simply use it as a blunt instrument, or find some way of removing the three legs and using the metal rods that are those legs as weapons somehow. Probably use them to impale zombies with (rotting flesh is weaker than normal anyway, and I'm pretty strong at thrusting... ;D). Simples

A lot of earphones, notebooks, cookies BUT also just within reach a swiss pen knife, pretty robust arm guards (might take a bite or two) and - much more convenient - a suitably sized carving knife.
If I'm really lucky, I might find some really old and really bad first draft of a manuscript in one of those notebooks, which might blow off the head of anyone unlucky enough to listen to it.

Can of sprite, pack of smokes, lighter, knife, and germX. I'd use the knife as an utility tool, can as a container for any flammable liquids I might find, and the smokes and lighter for improvised bomb making (in cooperation with the can and liquid). The germX will be used to dump on wounds and scrapes to help stave off infection, if at all possible.
