Y'know how sometimes, in the summer, it'll be warm and sunny, but still lightly raining? I love that. Doesn't happen too often, but it's nice to walk in it.

I like a nice mostly dry heat with clear skies. 85 Fahrenheit is good if I can't get access to a place to swim, higher is nice if I can. I live in California, in the San Francisco Bay Area.

about 25 degrees Celsius with a slight wind to chill you down is my ideal golfing/camping weather.
And who doesn't love the smell of rain and watching lightning storms (just not for golf). And if I am at the beach, I want it to be at least 30 degrees.

Depends on my mood.

Standard calm: light clouds, 10% humidity, temperature hovering around 78 degrees Fahrenheit, and a nice breeze blowing.

Pensive calm: Overcast, with light rain.

If I had to sum that up, I'd say "Kanto region, Japan, in mid-spring."

As much as I enjoy a really powerful thunderstorm poor lighting leads to depression. For me anyways. I love the sound of thunder booming loud enough to rattle the house, the sound of rain falling upon the roof... That feeling of peace I get from it... T_T

A hot summer storm is perfect. After a long hot sticky day, a storm in late afternoon or evening is so refreshing and is like the feeling of relief.

Ive been cursed to have to deal with Arizona...urgh..
This place is hell, especially with humidity.

I want to live somewhere where there are actual seasons...Rain, some snow, storms, and nice cool temps. No hurricanes or tornadoes etc

I'm a rain and ice person. Heavier and colder the better... just don't give me thunder, it terrifies me. For good reason, I actually saw lightning spark off the ground in the distance. Thats how close I was to being struck by lightning. Thunder as a result inspires a primal terror in me.

just on a side note to the thread, anyone in the UK sick of the current witchhunt against the weather forecasters?

The media are going nuts, saying 'we were promised a hot sunny summer!'

No you weren't, they originally said 'bbq weather is likely, about a 65% chance of a good summer'

Secondly, re-read the name, they're forecasters, they try to predict future weather, they don't actually choose it.

Besides if Britain had a summer without sudden outbreaks of massive rainfall on a regular basis, it wouldn't BE Britain.

In deference to the topic however, I'd have to say autumn's cool weather with low breezes, cool but not freezing and safe to know the sun ain't gonna piss me off.

20 degrees Celsius with a light breeze is great for me.

Any big gust of wind makes me freeze though, even though I can stand in an ice rink with only a t-shirt and shorts be fine.
