Mine was last year. I had Wendy's and within thirty minutes, I had the shakes, cold sweats, and felt like I was going to throw up. After an hour, I puked. Kept puking. Couldn't keep food or water down for about three days. The first time I tried to drink water, I threw it up after an hour. The second time, lost it after a half hour. The trend kept going until I couldn't keep water (or anything) down for even a minute. (Then why did I keep trying? I dunno. I was thirsty as hell though.)

It might not sound bad in comparison to others but it was pretty miserable for me. I wanted to die and the entire time I was sick like this, I felt desperate to eat something. Like a whole freaking feast. xD

I dunno if Wendy's caused it or if it was just a coincidence but because of that, I can't stand to eat Wendy's anymore. I think of it and automatically think of when I was sick like this and it just makes me want to hurl again.
Semi-funny story though, depending. While I was sick, I accidentally puked on my dog's head. -_- I ran for the bathroom and she decided to tag along and play nanny (she does that when I get sick) but as I puked, she stuck her head in the toilet to see what was going on. Yeah. I was annoyed with her at the time but it's funny to me now. xD

About a month ago I got sick with something, first night I had the chills so bad my teeth were chattering, and I could barely walk straight. Stupidly, I went to bed without checking my temp or telling anyone. Next three or four days I don't think I got out of bed once, and have manifested in my memory as a jumbled mess of throwing up and wondering why propping up even slightly made me so dizzy I could barely see, thanks to a fever that floated around 104.

5ish years ago, a bit after Hurricane Ivan, we went out to dinner to try and lighten the mood after most of our house was destroyed, and we had to live in my Grandmother's house for an as of yet undetermined amount of time.
Yeah, not a good plan.
I ended up with salmonella, so lots of sick unpleasantness, swearing off of any and all fish EVER (Gotta love that I actually god salmonella from salmon), and jealousy directed at the people that could actually eat for the three days it took before they got me into the hospital.
I spent two nights there, got the shiny IV of MakeTheSickGoAway, and the chicken soup that could only have been created by deep frying a chicken, then boiling the skin for half a day.

I really don't remember much more about the salmonella incident past just feeling horrible.
Probably because a ten-year-old just wants it to stop, while a fifteen-year-old likes to ***** and moan. Hooray teenagerdom!

EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot. I couldn't eat any dairy products for a long time, because as my system attempted to violently expel the salmonella, it apparently washed the stuff that processes lactose with it. So yeah, I pretty much got to learn what food I ate had dairy in it by having my stomach scream bloody murder at me every time I failed to read a label.
