Kindergarden. I was just freshly 5th grade.
And I was beaten up for the first two months, everyday.

I can't really think of any single bad incident, just a general sense of fear and unease.

When at school, like in first grade, the school principal and a teacher had the same birthday, same as mine, and when one of the teachers asked anyone who had their birthday that day(it was that day, 21st of July), I walked up, but he said to me that I had to go back to my seat:'(

It still haunts me...

Back when scooters were all the rage, me and a couple of friends were going around town when we got to a very steep hill situated in an alleyway. I mean properly steep, nearly 45 degree steep. I rode down first, the front wheel got stuck in a small pothole, flung me off and I skidded along the pavement for what seemed like forever, getting loads of cuts on both my arms and legs. It gets worse because the hill had earned the nickname, and I'm not joking here, 'Dogshit Alley'.

One time, There was a mouse the found its way into the cupboard. My mom knocked it off and it fell into a blender glass and she sealed it with a top. So, I thought she was going to throw it outside somewhere so I made my way outside to see her throw it out...I was horrified when I saw here there. I went back and she blended the rat and poured it down the sink.Never had a smoothie since : /.

yes you heard heard right, I bit my own fucking tongue off, and let me tell you this, biting your own tongue off is the most intense pain a child can go through...

how much did you bite off?

OT: When I had a pedal dumper truck i used to race it down the hill with my friends but one day the steering wouldn't work and i smashed my head into a lamp post.

I've got a lot of bad memories from childhood. One of the worst happened one winter..I think I was in 4th or 5th grade at the time. We had to raid our piggy banks (which were so empty as it was, the coins had plenty of room to jingle) and check under the cushions on the couch for change so that we could buy kerosene to heat our trailer.

It wasn't the cold, or giving up what little change we had been able to save up, it was the look on my mom's face when she asked for it.

My dad hid in a cupboard in my room for at least 2 hours making vague noises and stuff before jumping out and grabbing me. Literally the scariest thing that's ever happened to me, even though i've watched [rec].
I love your dad. I simply must meet him one day.

When I was five, my mom told me not to play with bees.
I ask her why.
She showed me this documentary of a little girl who played with a beehive. It was a mix of actual footage, and dramatic re-enactment.
The mother of the girl died, and I'm pretty sure the little girl got her ass kicked by the bees.
Every night from that night until age 7, I would have dreams of a swarm of bees swarming on to me.

When I was in the 7th grade,it was Winter and I just finished my piano exams and got an A+.Outside of the GYM room which was in a different location rather than in the school there was a slide of ice.It was rather lenghty and I decided to go for it.When I reached the end I slipped and I hit the ground with the back of my head. This gave me amnesia for around 2 hours.

Luckily my friends helped me reach my mom which was giving piano lessons a few hundred meters away. After that accident I have troubles remembering things in my early childhood, only vague flashbacks.I remember asking what year it was and where I was,it was very frightening after my friends told me.

I was in the third grade and my teacher made me go up to the board and do a math problem. Now, I was a short ass third grader and couldn't really reach where she wanted me to reach. So, instead of giving me a stool to stand on, she has one of the bigger kids pick me up. This kid thinks it would be funny to pick me up and drop me. I land on my head and have to go home cause the headache was killing me. The teacher got yelled at and the kid got detention. Me, I got the worst headache of my life and people ridiculing me until I left that district in the 6th grade.

Another nasty memory of mine is in the 5th grade, this kid who was at least twice my size beat me up in the backyard behind my apartment building. He only stopped cause my dad came outside with my grandpa's shotgun and my grandmother came running down the street with a butcher knife. The kid went to school the next day and told everyone that he had caught my dad and grandmother hitting me cause I told them to "f--k off", which I would never say to my dad and grandmother, for two reasons, 1. I loved them both dearly and 2. They were some very scary people if crossed. So yeah...I lived in a pretty shitty place most of my life.

When I buried Aladdin action figure in the sand at the beach and marked it with a stone X, then I could never find him again. My Dad and Uncle practically dug up the island but no sign of him...
Holy shit these type of things happened to me all the time! For some reason I had the strange urge to bury a lot of my toys, quite a few I never saw again :p.

Also happened with a gameboy. My dad regularly hid it from us and then this one time he came and told us he couldn't find it anymore. I'm not sure if he actually missplaced it, or broke it :D. It was one of the really cool grey ones too, shame.

I was once pushed onto a glass coffee table by my asshole of a brother. I had to get 2 stitches just above my nose WITHOUT anesthesia. I blacked out pretty quickly.(I was about 5 years old)

Also, as I was first learning how to ride a bike, I went down a hill that my brother had just gone down. He was waiting at the bottom. I told him to get out of the way. He got out of the way, but apparently forgot to move his bike. I hit it and went flying. It was fun at first, but then I hit the ground. Only a few bruises and scratches though.(I was about 7)

Being thrown off of a bench at school when around 10 or 11 (it was my last year of Primary/Elementary School) and hitting the concrete face first I'd have to say is my worst. I had a lot of dental work done on me after that one. The sick thing is that the extent of bastards punishment was to "face the wall" for the rest of the lunch-time, they didn't even call my mother. She only found out after school. She expressed the wish that she had sued them several times after that.

I occasionally get the impression that I have repressed some memories worse than that, but I am not sure why.

I hold my child self in great contempt.
I flinch when I remember the stupid things I did as a child.
As do I, as well as the less than pleasant things that happened in general. Although admittedly I go through a phase of that every couple of years, I currently despise the person I was at the ages 16-18.
ehh i know what you mean by the whole surpressed memories...ive done it alot...i cant remember anything before 7th grade because life sucked before then

Fourth grade. After my teacher instructed the class to divide into groups, I was alone. My teacher took my hand and led me over to a group, and it was clear that if they had their choice I wouldn't be allowed within 100 miles of their group. But they HAD to let me in their group because the teacher was standing right there. So they did.

That was the first time I ever felt that I was truely hated. It's not a good feeling.

I try not to remember.
I had a... hmm, lucky (I think) childhood compared to some.
But I don't really have any... I'm only 20 so really only just "out" of my Childhood. I get annoyed with myself when I think back to previous girlfriends (I've not forgiven myself for having sex, seriously) and when I think to all the stupid things I've done (emptied my savings account and wasted it all on crap like toys etc).
I have one memory (very vague) from primary school when I must have sworn in class (one of the lighter swear words) and I got sent out or something - I couldn't even have been 10 years old at that time. Another memory from my other primary school where I spoke about a book which mentioned computer hacking or something (I think those books must have been like real life spy novels for kids - or at least similar).
Got one of (still at primary school) watching Ricki Lake. A transexual (I think) came on and said "I used to be a man, but now I'm a woman" and that memory has stuck with me ever since. I have nothing against people like that, but it's not left my memory at all.

I wish I hadn't done most things I did, and I still think that about stuff I've done in the past few weeks.
