Your WORST game of the decade

Of the decade? Gonna have to go with Predator: Concrete Jungle. Of all the things they could do with the predator license they chose to follow something closer to Predator 2 which is one of the worst movies ever. Game followed suit.

What's up with people putting down games that were no where near the worst. People just mad they bought the wrong toy- which is essentially what video games are. I mean, assassins creed as the worst of the decade? The game worked. That alone throws it out of the topic.

Halo.

...ugh I give up, next time I will just avoid saying Halo as people are adamant it's the worst game ever made and the first person who says they hate it can feel original and an "independant" thinker.

Halo's pros:

-Decent graphics
-Creative aliens
-Properly made difficulty settings
-Custom gamemodes.

Halo's cons:

-Gun takes up about half the screen, WHEAR DID GAEM GO?
-Incredibly repetitive
-Failure controls, especially in vehicles
-Annoying dialogue
-Horrible level design
-The ultimate in linearity (and that's the BAD linearity, not Half-life style)
-No puzzles, just point at the enemies and shoot bullets
-Unoriginal
-Pathetic gravity settings
-That annoying kind of recoil that forces you to fire short bursts of bullets
-The Flood are the most annoying bastards ever
-No tactics involved
-Terrible A.I.
-Slow-paced
-Community stuffed with pricks
-Few multiplayer levels
-Confusing H.U.D
-Regenerating shields, which absorb billions of bullets until they run out, at which point you're killed by a Grunt farting
-Started the ultimate campaign to take over the world with shitty FPSes (see ZP's review on Turok)

Now admit that it sucks.

Worst game of the decade, hmmm... Nothing I played got me as boiled up as Bore, sorry, Spore did. I would think it's easily at least one of the top two worst games in the last decade that everybody has played.

I don't have to explain shit. My opinion: Halo sucks, Marathon was better. Simple as that. And being the predictable fanboys that you all obviously are, you start jumping on me with "WHY DOES IT SUCK GIVE ME A REASON! NOW!" Shut the fuck up and stick to the topic.

Firstly, you've been hit by anti-anti-Halo rage, sorry, there's nothing I can do about that.

But I have to disagree with all the bits I've quoted. What's the point in a thread that's just opinion? It's boring, just a load of nerds screaming into the wind. Can you imagine how skull-fuckingly dull this thread would be if it was just people posting the game without reasons? That's not a discussion, it's a list. Throw in the fact that it's interesting to know why people don't like the things you do like and you can only reach one conclusion: People need to state their reasons.

So, onwards: Spore. Seems like they spent about 6 years on the editor, 6 weeks on the game. Everything beyond the gorgeous tidepool level was spectacularly shallow. And then there's the constant way you always have TWO limiting factors. "Sorry, can't use this part, you don't have enough evolution points, and then you need to go and FIND the part" and it keeps getting worse "Sorry, you can't terraform this planet. You need to quest to get the part, and then pay through the nose for one use". Terraforming itself was painful, each item takes about a minute to cool-down, and using one creates a massive cloud of particle effects so you can't see what you've just done. Should've been another editor.

For me it was sonic heroes, I was really looking forward to it, then when I finally got it I had to go return it after 4 hours of playing... it was so amazingly terrible. Haven't bothered with another sonic game since.

Sonic Unleashed, just sooo bad. Havent played many of the games mentioned but funnily enough, one of my mates has a wii, and also likes most of the games u guys have mentioned.

Also HL2-EP2 JUST BECAUSE ITS LEFT ON A CLIFFHANGER AND EP3 STILL WONT COME OUT FOR AGES AND AGES. (dont get me wrong, absolutely loved HL2-EP2, but as the man with the hat says, episodic gaming is releasing smaller/partial games but with quicker gaps between EP's)
