Your Worst Noob moment

Playing Star Wars Galaxies and the term "shuttleport" just not registering in my head. So I went everywhere on foot and was whining about how hard it was because I had been sent on a mission to the next town and could not get there...

In wow I used a spell called divine shield while I was carrying the flag during pvp. The spell makes you immune to all damage so In turn you drop the flag.
What then happened.... Well the enemy took the flag back, lolled at me... And then the game went on for another annoying 20 minutes >.<

I went into an all spy server in TF2 as a sniper. Several people told me to switch to spy. I left quickly in a fit of embarrassment.

I was playing a game of Halo 3 on The Pit. I had a rocket launcher and clear shot at my friend who was walking by. I kept the rocket launcher on him, and when I fired, I hit the wall and killed myself.

That was embarrassing.

Your not alone there, I once died three times from the same airstrike (my own by the way.)

Heres what happened.

I called in the airstrike I got only, to be killed by someone straight, after I called it.

I then respawned to the same area, that I sent my airstrike to, I was killed, I then reswpawned again at the exact same place, was killed and then I respawned again. Try and guess what happened the third time.

I was killed...again.

Although I'm not sure if that's a noob moment or just plain bad luck. I guess both.

At the start of a round of Hardcore Team Deathmatch in CoD4, I accidentally pressed the shoulder button while picking my controller up off the table. I threw a grenade which my entire team ran into and died. I was promptly killed by the other team, and then killed by my team at the start of the next round.

Although not so much nooby, and more freak luck, probably Team Slayer on The Pit on Halo 3.


Cue start of the game, team begins to split to follow my tactics, I BR the fusion coils at green box, sending a piece of one flying into me, causing a suicide. About 30 seconds later, I BR the fusion coils on the opposite side, causing a piece to betray a team-mate over by rocket tunnel. It killed an enemy in the process, but that still sucked.


Before anyone asks, no - that doesn't usually happen. I'm actually pretty damn good at Halo. Luck was not on my side at that point, though we still won.

In a Military Sim game called Arma2 i Accidently forgot lean around a corner to Shoot a AT-4 and Blew Myself and 4 other guys up and completely Leveling the Building.

In borderlands, just as I was starting a new charecter. I was defending my self against around 7 lvl 8 skags (I was lvl 6) I have about 20 HP left, 1 skag left, he's charging at me with a quarter health, I'm outa ammo... So I toss my grenade at it. I was joyed when I saw my incendriary nade stick BUT, was not joyed when the skag did a leaping attack at me, from I which promptly side stepped...Only to be blwon up by my sticky nade.

Yea. I Fail.

bought the sims... oh in a game!!!

i guess when i tried to use a mongoose to get close enough to a tank to jack it in halo 3 then when he shot at me i flew 50 feet away fell out of the mongoose and tried to take the thing out with a needler and a sword.. i was killed 3 seconds after i fell out of the mongoose.

I think my first month of WoW was a never ending sea of noob. I didn't wear boots for a very long time...don't ask why, I'm not sure myself any more.

So, I remembered one time, the only time, I tried starcraft's online play. I soon found out, I was up against ridiculously professional players who have been online for 11 goddamn years. Of course I was squashed, but alas, the stupid game is IMPOSSIBLE to get into! Excuse me for being new, dammit, I suppose I'll play with my friends.
Anyways, what are your worst noob moments in gaming?
(This was sort of an excuse to blow of steam from that stupid occurrence)

OT: Probably failing out on "Down with the sickness" the first time I played online on Rock Band 2. Took me a while to find the right pitch to sing that song at.

I was playing Halo 3, and I misspoke and said, Nah that guy has the SMG and the brute sniper. I ment to say spiker. But the whole teams goes quiet. Then maybe a 8 year old kid, says uhh dude, there is not brute sniper.

I felt like a noob, I didn't even know all the weapons =C

I have trying to learn to play WxW in Worms Armageddon in my head though, I was pretty noob at that for awhile.

Any time I try and spy in TF2 I probably look like a noob.
