Reboot. I got the game for two dollars back in the day and I still thought it was too much. You'd think a game about characters that do nothing but play games would be better at, well, being a game.

I'm noticing a large number of cross-franchise titles being thrown around here (movies, tv shows, etc.). I tried to think of a straight original game IP, but there're about fifteen other games from movies or tv or something that come along and stomp its face into the ground with how appallingly bad they are. All those wasted hours of my youth. If I had access to a time machine, after giving myself winning lotto numbers or something the first thing I'd do is tell the young me not to play any stupid cross-franchise games.

This God-awful bodyboarding game was so bad, that they had to put a picture of someone stand-up surfing on the cover, tricking people into buying it...

I would have to say Forsaken. It's a sort of first person action racing game.

If you can believe it, the actual gameplay is more horrible then this cut scene.
I actually think that cutscene is pretty awesome... the voiceover guy was hilarious :D

Soul Reaver, but that says more about my game collection than the game itself.
That certainly does, sounds like an awesome collection to me!

Looking back I bought a bunch of shitty games because they were licensed brands that I liked at the time. I was still fairly young, but I'm actually still ashamed of the "games" I bought back then:

I have and played the first Harry Potter game (and I think I even got most of those goddamn magic beans before giving up).

101 Dalmations (which really wasn't as bad as you might be expecting)

Buzz Lightyear: Star Command. That game has the second worst animated cutscenes in a game ever, right behind Zelda-CDi. Seriously.

Out of those three I have to go with Harry Potter being the worst overall.

EDIT: I just remembered playing a Stuart little PSX game, does anyone remember that? It is a definite contender for this list. I think I just rented it though.

Fantastic Four... just ugh. It was a terrible superhero game, and not even entertaining in its badness (I mean, even the Avengers game for the SNES had the terrible voice clips for a good laugh.) It was just awful.

I rented The Perfect Weapon which comes up on a lot of people's lists, but I honestly can't remember anything about it.

I've been collecting some PSX games recently and while I don't have too-too many at the moment (less than 50 so it's not much of a collection yet) I have come across a number of notably stinky games on that little grey console.

Contra: Legacy of War is made of loading screens and long loading times.
Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22/26 is a game that isn't nearly as good as DBGT: Final Bout.
Eggs of Steel is hilariously dark but mostly hilariously difficult to control and understand.
Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X-Traction is like Powerstone...only slow and terrible.
Revolution X is a hilariously bad port of a surprisingly not-terrible arcade game. Aerosmith is in it.
The Wild Thornberry's: Animal Adventure is an alleged game
Tiny Toon Adventures: The Great Beanstalk is a PnC adventure with Discworld-esq logic.
Zero Divide is a slow fighting game with graphics ALMOST as good as those found in Ballz 3D on the SNES.
