Your worst scar stories

No not your worst scar, not the story that makes you sound like a badass. I want the one that the scar is so stupid or from a stupid event that you can?t brag about it.

I shall open with mine.

Back when some Band-Aids came in metal tins I managed to cut my left hand up on a Band-Aid tin. I still have a scar on it that looks like the letter y. The lack of sharp edges did not prevent my past self from finding a way to cut myself.

Spoiler: How I did it

The top of this box was attached by a hinge. Well it seems I got my hand on the hinge while closing the box. The rest is bloody left hands and history.

I have a scar on my left index finger from trying to cut my dog's bone in half with a steak knife.
I was little and we had two dogs, I wanted them both to have the bone.

Obviously not my biggest (appandectomy scar about 6 inches long), but I got hit in the face with a baseball during a practice one time and finished my run to first base. And then realised I was dripping blood and had some loose teeth.

Also somehow managed to slice up two fingers when cutting an onion one time. Then I decided to be brilliant as I hadn't noticed and shook my hand because I thought I'd just nicked it. After I cleaned up my hand I went back to find the kitchen cupboards splattered with blood.

I've got a two inch long scar on my bicep from falling down three steps and hitting a metal dolly. It didn't even bleed when it first happened.

I have this bad ass scar across my right eyebrow that doesn't always show because my eyebrow hair likes to cover it up sometimes. I got it when I was 4-years-old. Ran full-tilt in the edge of a table. It probably hurt a lot.

I have a scar on and am missing part of my right big toe because an elevator closed over my right foot when I was 6.

And the stretch marks on my knees. Seriously, who gets those?

Ayup. Never known anyone else to have 'em either. It's a good thing knees are already one of the ugliest parts of the body, because I have stretch marks and scars on both knees.

They do look kind of funny don't they. People never really notice them anyway, at least I don't. My stretch marks are well hidden in a pretty common spot for them... my inner thighs. >.>

My worst scar is also my stupidest scar. I was out running in the country and decided to leap over a stone wall - I didn't quite make it, and ended up landing my shin on the edge of the wall. It looked completely ridiculous how I did it though.

well, I was just standing there when my step-dad leaned up against the wall underneath a window. The window shattered and I was the only one injured despite standing the farthest away from it. I had to get 9 stitches in between my middle and ring finger on my left hand.

The only scar I have I got in a bike crash. I braked, going down a hill, which was made of gravel and flint, just before a sizeable bump. When the front wheel landed, I forgot to take the brake off, so I ended up flipping the bike, with me underneath it. I rolled quite a way, and needed 3 stitches in my elbow. I now have a rather penis shaped scar there, which is probably the bit about this story I hate the most.

Well, it isn't exactly a scar, but I have two burns. They're as permanent as any scar, so they'll count.

I got them when I was but a wee lad, and I was going to the sauna, as is the custom 'round these parts. When coming down from my seat, I slipped and started sliding on the curved, wet floor. My slide was stopped by the blazing hot sauna stove. I managed to burn myself pretty badly, but only on my other shoulder and...

Behind my ear. How I managed that, I'll never know. The one behind the ear was later reopened in a car crash, so it looks like an ordinary scar.

My best one is still rubbish, I've got a inch long armpit scar from some lymph node surgery.

A friend of mine has a scar from the side of his lip halfway up his cheek though. He got it whilst trying to open a tricky bottle of wine, and bent over the get more leverage. Pop when the cork, the bottle opener went through his face and he came out with a hell of a scar.

I have several utterly ridiculous scars

The First is on my forehead, I got it when I was 4: It's actually a bump, rather than a scar, It's not visible, but if you run your hand across my forehead you can feel it with ease, ANYWAY, it happened when I was 4, apparently I was having a nice run around my Grandma's huge garden, as I was running, I happened to trip over and fall headfirst on the ONLY object in the HUGE garden...A brick



The second I got when I was about 6. I actually remember this one happening. It's right on my elbow, It happened at a friend's house..long story short, I got a Door handle stuck in it..Just went right through my skin xD


The Third..This happened when I was about 12, and it's on my left forearm...And this is stupid....Basically I was just scratching my arm, and I seem to just have scratched it so hard then it just started bleeding...And now there's a 4inch long scar running across my arm....


I'm not depressed or anything xD

The craziest scars I have are teeth marks on my face from when a dog tried to rip my head off when I was a child.

The stupidest scar I have is on my finger from when I put a knife through it while dicking about in a professional kitchen. There was so much blood. I'm such a bleeder!

I got my thumb caught in the part of a door frame where the lock/bolt thing go. It ripped about 1/2in of skin right off of my thumb in a curvy fashion, right on the bone too.
