My unlucky right knee, when i was 16 i played basket, jumped abit to high and scraped the knee very bad, one week after when i had a big scab on that knee and did the exakt same thing, pulled abit of meat of with the scab.

Then at 19 years of age i was riding my bike on my way to school, and was gonna turn but it was begining of winter and frost all over the road, did a 3meter powerslide with the same knee in the asphalt. The school nurse asked if i was attacked with a knife when i sat there with red jeans from the knee down.

So i estimate my right knee has about 1-2 years before it decideds on some more scarification.

I have a round scar on my right forearm that's about a half an inch across. My sister's rabbit, a flemish giant weighing in at about 15 pounds, got spooked one day and lunged at me, bit into my arm, hung there for a few seconds, and tore out a quarter inch deep chunk of flesh.

I've got this one on the top of my head. You can only see it when I shave my head. When I was young, some retard decided that it would be funny to throw an 8 pound rock at my head. If you've never had a surgical staple used to keep a fractured skull together, you are a lucky person. Going in, it kinda pinches. Coming out is unbelievable torture.

Well I have two on the face from where a dog pulled me out of my buggy and bit me in the face when I was about three. I had to get stitches, but I wouldn't fall asleep for the doctors to do it. They tried five times with the gas thingy, nothing would make me sleep. So I had to have the stitches all done while wide awake, which annoyed the doctors since one of the scars is right under my eye. I fell asleep on the car ride home. I still have the scars to this day, 18 years later. Everyone thought that I might develop a fear of dogs after that but I never did. Saw the dog that did it a few times after, it was friendly to me after that.

I have a tiny scar on my brow, it's very thin and goes from the middle of my left eyebrow to right beside my eye.
I got it in a foolish motorcycle accident.
Ok, it was a kitten.

Not me personally, but a friend of mine shot herself in the hand while firing an arrow.
Totally jealous.
I... what.... how?

Just how would you even manage that, wit hthe angles, its....

urh?
Crossbow maybe? Otherwise I'm as confused as you are.
But unless you deliberately held your hand over the place the bolt is fired from (which would be really uncomfortable and also not practical at all) you still couldn't. It's like shooting yourself in the hand with a rifle, i just don't understand how you could without being terminally stupid.
I guess the other option is pulling the string /way/ the heck too far back and holding the arrow a bit too closely, but it still doesn't make much sense.
Hurray, I caused confusion on the forum!

She basically had too short of an arrow for her bow. While pulling the string back it dropped out of the grip at the time she fired it away. Blood gush where to be had, and much laughter afterwards.

I have a scar on my left temple because I walked into a wall when I was two and cracked my head open.

I was, and still am, a genius.

I got one from falling off my bike when I was about six, that is still here now (18) although it has faded significantly. Now, for a stupid one, I was playing basket ball in class for P.E and somehow managed to trip on the guy in front of me and skid a bit on my knee before finally stopping. I left a skid mark on the ground and the opening on my knee took months to finally close up, like, blood didn't even clot up there for a month or so. And let me remind you that I got this from playing a simple game of relaxed basketball in school.

Was climbing on an old water tank, which had a tap with the top removed, so basically a 2'' bolt, anyway we'd use the tap as a foot hold to get on top of it. I slipped when climbing, hooked myself on the tap bolt through my leg, and was dangling there for about 30 minutes before someone found me. Damn horrible wound - it wouldn't heal properly because it was like a countersink, like a round plug taken out of my leg, no stitching, just dressings for about 2 months.

My worst injury though is the time I was on holiday and my brother and I were racing down this steep sand dune, I fell forward, knee bent wrong way and sprang me into the air. My knee is totally ruined from that, already had 3 operations on it and it's still a ***** in cold weather.

Ohh, I got a spear in the eye one time as well... damn, it's tricky to decide on a worst injury sometimes - that's the mark of an interesting childhood.

I've got a long scar that is the remnant of a gash that I got from a rugby tackle going right down my lower left leg. I was late to the next lesson because I had to peel my blood-soaked sock from my leg. Ok maybe that one doesn't really count here.

On my right leg there's a bit of a dent and an accompanying scar where I walked into the corner of the loading ramp of a van when we were moving house. I couldn't even do anything about it at the time because I had one end of a sofa in my hands.

I tripped and fell on a nail.

Got a nasty scar on my ear as a result. Could have been worse.

No not your worst scar, not the story that makes you sound like a badass. I want the one that the scar is so stupid or from a stupid event that you can?t brag about it.

I shall open with mine.

Back when some Band-Aids came in metal tins I managed to cut my left hand up on a Band-Aid tin. I still have a scar on it that looks like the letter y. The lack of sharp edges did not prevent my past self from finding a way to cut myself.

The top of this box was attached by a hinge. Well it seems I got my hand on the hinge while closing the box. The rest is bloody left hands and history.
I love the irony of this. Tis brilliant.

It's probably not going to scar over, but I've still got a noticeable red mark on my face next to my left eye, where I found a nice tree at night that I thought I might like to climb. The lowest branch was still a little out of arm's reach, but I'm capable of jumping up, grabbing hold of a branch, then swinging my legs up with me to wrap around it as well, getting me into a nice sloth-grip all in one movement. I'm capable of doing this in the light, at least. In the dark, I couldn't see how far away the branch was, so I earned myself a face full of tree. I still managed to get the grip exactly how I described, but I also lacerated the skin around my left eye on the rough bark.

Don't ask me how this happened, but somehow I was left hanging off of a mountain for dear life, while my son was nowhere to be seen. I was about to fall off when my brother, god knows where he came from, grabbed my hand. I thought he was going to save me, but turns out, he just wanted my position as King of the Pride. A detail I forgot to mention was that a stampede was going on right under the mountain I was hanging off of. So he threw me off the mountain.Bastard told my son it was his fault I died. God dammit Scar.

OT: Not those kinds of Scar stories? Well, The worst scar I have is on my forehead from when a guy fell on me while I was on the ground and fractured my skull. I didn't hurt that much, but it was bloody as hell.

Well I've got one on my wrist from this kid in the third grade, he had his hand held out and I went to slap it away and his fingernail just kind of dug in.

Not stupid enough? My sister shoved me into a broken couch where the frame stabbed me in the face giving me a scar under my eye.

Not stupid enough? I have a semecircle on my pinky because when I was 2 my father slammed a door while carrying me and cut the tip of my finger almost completely off.

Not stupid enough? I have one under my right arm from moving too much and tearing out a surgical tube. to compound that stupidity I have one the exact opposite side from where someone stepped on that surgical tube.
