Uninhabited island please. Make giant wall. Plant seeds for food and fruit. Bam I win! I'm only 11 damit. What could I do?

OT: I'd pray to god and stay at heaven. I'm only 11! What could I actually do?

If at home: go from my house to a workshop a quarter mile away where I'll gather what additional weapons, supplies and transportation I need. From there, I'll go to my friends' house. It's built like a fortress, has large food and weapon stockpiles and has long lines of sight. A quick raid to a local gun store would yield enough weapons and ammo to supply a small army for several days of combat. (Seriously, how many gun stores do you know that stock .50 Cal. BMG?) We could probably hold out for a very long time there irregardless of the season.
Silly kids and their Call Of Duty.
Id grab a bus (Air Conditioned one if I could) cover the windows except the windshield, put some spikes all around it, some kneecappers. store a fuckload of batteries and extra gas in the storage compartment, and just keep driving till I find a more secure location.
What about that gave you the impression that I've been playing too much CoD? My local gun store seriously has several boxes of .50 Caliber Browning Machine Gun ammunition behind the counter; probably because of the Barret they sold a few years back. They also have multiple M16 and AK-47 variants, shotguns galore, at least 2 Thompsons, pistols of all shapes and sizes, and ammo to go with them.

We already live with zombies, they just don't eat people. They are simple to avoid.

Don't go to any resteraunt that has the word "buffet" in their title.

Avoid any person that any group they belong to is right and won't discuss or acknowledge that they might not be. Not that they are wrong, but just holds their right no matter what. And the only way they can say so is by having you join, and if you don't, their group puts forth you are wrong. As a result that person of that group ignores you. Avoid them.

Avoid any person that holds their government is right, or would be members of whom they would like to see as their government is right. Anyone that doesn't believe their government should work for them, instead they believe they work for their government.

Avoid any person that belongs to a gender you are physically attracted to that has bad credit. If you give into the sex they can provide, you WILL be the who ends up with stressed or bad credit yourself. Never involve yourself with someone with bad credit/money problems. For any reason. It is more important than if someone is a single parent. I MEAN IT FULLY. THIS IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU WILL EEEEEVVVVVVEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR HEAR.

For all the rest like flesh eaters I have an M4, pump action shotgun, multiple handguns, studied Budotaijitsu, and have a real strong paranoria. I even agree with the rules of survival in Zombieland.

I hope this helps.

Hah, interesting. I agree to some extent. I reckon the zombies you describe would be the first to get bitten and turn into actual brain munching zombies, should the apocalypse ever happen.

I plan to gain their trust and live among them, and in time, our differences will fad.
My contingency plan is a baseball bat.

Steal a pedo van (no windows), modify one of the back windows to have one tiny hole so I could point out a gun. Hit up Walmart for survival tools (razor-sharp machete for seven bucks), stock up on any provisions I can get my hands on and find survivors who have done the same and hold out until the military kicks in and saves us.

so i ask you what is your zombie plan and how will you survive?
Did you think you were the first to make a Zombie Apocalypse thread?.

Besides my plan has always been and always will be to die in the initial wave. I am not very good with planning ahead.
I hate to quote people but you made me lol. :)

I know how to fly a plane. My best bet would be to fly to the American South-west where there is a dam which provides electricity without needing any help from man(it really does exist). And hide there until someone will come for me.Guns are more commonplace there and there is a higher chance somebody will find me since it would be the U.S and not a tiny island in the Mediterranean.

Bunker with a tower entrance with retractable ladder, the outside is fire proof, solar panels included and warehouse enough for about a year of supplies.

Climb in, retract ladder, burn any zombies that start to cluster around the tower/bunker, use low-energy heating/lighting inside the bunker.

Main Argument : Most zombies seem to be the effect of a sort of virus or other. That makes them biological. Zombies rarely sleep or stop moving, which makes their metabolism sky high. Most of them will have died within a few weeks from starvation/exhaustion. Even if wild animals are infected as well, and we assume you can keep your bunker shut from stuff like bigger bugs and such who might carry the infection, most of the world would have killed themself of after less than a year, even with the delay caused by late infections. After a year, you can emerge relatively safe from your bunker.

Note to self : start building that goddamn bunker o_o

Hide behind the search button
but that is the perfect place for the zombies to hide!!

but is anyone else getting sixk of zombie surivial threads on forums... they are all over the place >.<

Ive noticed most replys to these things are overly fantasy and to try and impliment them isnt set in any reality. But my plan, my plan is set thinking about my area I live in and the things I have on hand.

my plan, make my way to the shooting range up the hill that is set in a old quarry. It is a great place as it has one main way in that is easily defended and an emergency way out that no zombie could ever follow (no guns or ammo are stored on site so weapons isnt the reason for picking this site). Ill hold out here for aslong as possible and then I will make may way to the water resovior that is near the quarry and set up a proper defense/living conditions for the long haul. Weapons, being as I live in australia I dont have alot, but I do have my survival knives (SEAL pup and Buck Iceman) and some trenching tools, but basically I will worry more about gathering food and water to last me a few weeks. I always have atleast 3kg of beans in my house and lots of dried food like pastas, nuts and rice + with some books on local flora and some knowledge in small animal trapping I could probably last the distance (few relitives own farms so ive been out trapping with them a number of times).
i will travel as light as I can and using the mountain bike avoid anyone and anything as much as i can, I should be able to cover a decent distance.
failing this I also have an airforce base within walking distance from my house (and can also easily make the treak from the quarry and the resovior, prob 2 days walk, 1 day bike ride) so that is my back up plan, but im not overly confident in other people in a zombie break out...

Oh and for the pure awsomeness of the post apoc, try and find a 73 XB GT and ill steal my brothers blue healer XD

Take shelter at the Air Force base at my town. Military personnel, a pharmacy, a commissary, and much more. What's not to love?
Has it got a powerplant and sufficient farming facilities?

Seriously, Antarctic research station every time. Zombie are dead and thus wont feel the cold, but they will just freeze to the permafrost and rip themselves apart trying to walk on iced-up feet.

Evaporate myself, like in my avatar, and then reconstitute in an outer space satellite where there is highly nutritous space moss growing in tonnes on the inside. I survive for 2000 years and return to Earth, only to find that there haven't been any advancements in science because it ended yesterday, and that all the remaining people went to a cloning facility and cloned themselves every 15 years. Everything is the same for me, I win, the end.

Without reading this, I can tell that there are about 20 'SEARCH BAR' comments. (Emoticon visually detaiing a sigh)
Anywho...Well, I'd put that stockpiling I've been doing compulsively for about a year to good use. That should last me untill...America bombs us. Oh, I assume we are Ground Zero, over here in australia. Most planes coming over would crash, I suppose, before they got the zomblies here. So spreading would actually be fairly hard.
Edit: ok, so I was wrong. there are 2

I'd make a room made out of bullet proof glass and laugh at the zombies as they try to get through the invisible wall.

I post this every time...

I've got my Ka-bar under my bed, no guns though atm as I'm in Melbourne studying, though I will be heading home in a week.

It depends on the stage of the outbreak, if there's a mass panic to flee the city, I'm fortifying the house and waiting a few days, but if there isn't or its isolated to "rioting" in one area like Frankston, (if you lived in Melbourne you'd understand) I'll leave the city by car.

Ultimately the goal is to get back to Wangaratta my home town, gather the guns and family head into the hills, plenty of properties and farms to scavenge from.

Though these are my ideal (but realistic) goals for zombie weapons and my future stronghold.

Weapons for my myself and companions (working within Australia's gun laws)
Myself
Remington 7615 pump action rifle, with a reflex scope and 10 round magazines
Ka-Bar fighting knife
Crowbar

Companion 1
Scoped .22 Rifle (bolt-action or lever) with sub sonics (silent, small ammunition, requires headshots)
Sawn-off shotgun (lever or double barrel)
Knife + entrenching tool (folding shovel)

Companion 2
Levergun/Pump/Bolt
Knife + Axe (or at least large hatchet)

Companion 3
Same as 1, but machete instead of entrenching tool.

The .22 can dispatch Zombies silently and efficiently, shotguns for dropping groups and larger rifles for all round effectiveness. Nearly all the melee weapons double as tools.

With the .22s the ammunition is very common and light. They are less noisy or even nearly silent with sub-sonic rounds. The bullets lack the power to enter a skull and exit the other side, rather they ricochet around the skull, meaning hopefully a single shot kill to the head.

Down side is no stopping power what so ever, if they hit a zombie anywhere else it won't even be slowed.

Handguns if possible to obtain a license before the apocalypse, if not limited to scavenged/salvaged pre-1900 pieces, sporting guns or police/security weapons in Australia. Also I'd love an impact baton (illegal in my state) as well.

I want to get a Blaser R93, this German rifles can change its barrels and the calibers it takes, so any miscellaneous bullets I find can be used in it.

I am also looking into the laws around black powder cannon ownerships, one of those firing grapeshot (pebbles, scrape metal and anything I can scrape together) in a known killzone could be brutal against zombies (or useless).

Armour/Clothing
Leather/Moleskin pants
Tough oilskin vest (with pouches for ammunition)
Sturdy boots
Tight fitting cycling/swimming shirt (less likely to tear, harder to grab)
Knee pads, elbow pads, gloves and forearm armour (like those worn by skaters or even better bikers)
For urban/house clearance, helmet with with plastic visor (like used with gardening, kinda like the thing Dexter's wears) more for infected blood splatter
For rural/regional areas, sunglasses, broadbrim hat and shemagh (arab head scarf) wrapped around neck.

Prior to "Z-day" I want to be living in a Mexican style hacienda, four rectangular walls high windows with wooden shutters that are reinforced by steel and a courtyard with thick wooden gate to outside world. Greenhouse on the second floor, solar panels and a wind power water from air generator (basically wind spins turbine, powers refrig panels and creates water from condersation). Large underground water tanks for rainwater and aforementioned generated water.

This is on the outside of a large town (40,000 residents) perhaps a twenty minute drive.

Some sort of hybrid car that uses electric (perhaps rechargeable hydrogen cells) and regular fuel. Along with bicycles etc.

Guns, ammo, food and medical supplies stockpiled. Protective clothing like motor-bike gear, skate pads and helmets with clear visors for underneath regular clothing. Melee weapons like crowbars, machetes and hatchets that serve several purposes.

I will probably work up till Z-Day, thinking about General Practice, so I'll take a gun (in a case of course) with me to work, as rumors of zombies increase.

"Z day" occurs, gather family, wife + kids if I have them, plus siblings and parents if nearby. Call previously warned/selected friends. If they can get themselves plus family to my house or nearby they've got a spot in the house.

These friends include a vet and two former (at that point in time) soldiers, one of whom is an excellent mechanic and the other has a portable bullet press and knows how to remake bullets. I will hopefully be a trained doctor by that time (currently studying 2nd year).

Hide for a couple weeks, start raiding nearby properties (being vary careful), salvaging stuff and gathering livestock (we'd already have some chickens, a cow or two). Rescue survivors if safe to do so. Only allow appropriately inspected survivors in and only if they can carry their own weight.

If the zombies are there for the long haul, plant crops in the soil during the day, under the watchful eye of armed sentries. Hunt Kangaroos. Fence off livestock if there's too many to keep in the courtyard. Protecting them would be important but not life risk worthy. Reinforce already high windows and sturdy gate. Razor wire furthermost fences and gates around the farm.

Slaughter and burn any zombies that approach, at night time so the smoke can't be seen. Practice noise awareness/control, maintain radio silence at the house, if we need to communicated with other survivors (not often or likely), we'll take the set a dozen or kilometres away to one of several safe open spots and send our transmission. This is so our location can't be triangulated by tech savvy raiders and potentially remnants of the armed forces gone bad.

If the town greatly depopulates of zombies, say if they hypothetically move to a larger urban centre, raid the town itself. Raid grain silos and forage in overgrown vegetable fields, depending on the time of the year, there may be a lot of crops growing out of control.

Eventually start taking the fight to them, setting up traps and murderous shooting galleries on buildings on the outskirts (where we can recover all our casings).

Once zombie numbers have drastically decreased or they die out completely rebuild society ever vigilantly. Planned breeding to reduce consanguinity (aka incest/inbreeding). Teach the kids.

If survivors want to gather join my fort, they're welcome as long as the agree to the feudal semi-communistic nature of the place, with me as their Hetman.

If we get enough people there's an old fashioned prision in the nearby town of Beechworth, no prisoners (decommissioned now just tourists) and very tall walls, that could be our new town accommodating hundreds securely, setting up crops inside the walls and it often snows meaning a respite if zombies freeze

Tear the fabric of reality asunder, sucking all zombies into a netherdimension while leaving everyone and everything else entirely untouched.

What? The likelihood of that happening is about the same as a zombie apocalypse. If we're going for 'fantastical hypotheticals which will never occur' I may as well take it to the God-logical extreme.

Get out my childhood aluminum Tee-ball bat. Then go out and strike zombies with it, yelling TF2 Scout references.
