Ehhh.... I'm not really one to ask this question to.

All of my relationships have been with people at least 2 or 3 years older than me.
I don't see a problem with dating older so long as the two people involved love each other and all that jazz.
Still, it can be a little weird for some people but I really don't mind. In fact, I kinda have a thing for people a few years my senior so I'm a bit biased here.

Young though? I don't know. In my personal opinion, I wouldn't really date someone who's, say 15 (I'm 17) though I've gone one year lower. Didn't work out of course but it still isn't something I stay away from. I just tend to get involved with people older than me, and personally, I like it that way.

For everyone else though, who cares? If you love someone, you love them.

At 16 I dated a classmate, so same age. Next gf was when I was 18 ... she was 32. Much more than that (from a guy's perspective) is a bit odd. Never been with a younger chick ... I have the feeling I'd be irritated by them, though.

Well, let's look at the standard:

Your age, divided by 2, plus 7.

So, 16, divided by 2 is 8, plus 7 is 15.

So 15 is the minimum age. Now, in order to find the maximum age, we must find out the how old someone can be and still date a 16 year old. So...16 minus 7 is 9, times 2 is 18.

So...Anywhere between 15 and 18.

At 16, my range was about 14-19. That's really been my consistent scaling range for all of my life that I cared, two years younger to three years older.

Well Im 19 and I've dated a 14 yo. It really just depends on how much I click with the person. Age doesn't really matter. A year is just 300 days. If that's all that's stopping me from being with someone I like....then screw it.

im 17, but i would only date someone from 16 - 19.
off subject....your avatar is f'ng awsome

being 34?...i tend to date my age or older....i can probly land a 24yo, but that would take some luck

when i was younger at 13 i was dating a 16yo (and being the only guy in middle school that their gf would pick them up from school was a bit odd)
when i was 19/20...i was dating a 16yo who had hinted she wanted to go out w/ me to a girl i was kinda dating (it was a friend of hers) and honestly there wasnt much of a difference in maturity, and me a said girl ended up having a relationship for a few years, parents loved me, hell i even sat in the same room w/ her mom while she tried on prom dresses wearing nothing but a thong (that was a bit odd, but in retrospect not really, it wasnt anything that me or her mom hadnt seen before and were well aware of it)

Half your age plus 7 is minimum.

Your age plus half is maximum.

So 18.5 and 35.5, respectively.

When I was sixteen I wanted a guy who was exactly two years older than me (for some reason, I felt that this was the perfect gap...)

I have always preferred older men, as girls mature faster and it's the only way I've been able to find someone I felt comfortable with. When I say older though, I suppose the biggest gap was 7 years. I'm certainly not looking for the Hefner age gap =P (besides, it'd be a stretch to all him mature in any other than the sexual sense anyway =P)

At 16 I would go as high as 18, but would not go lower than 15.

At 21 (current age), I would go as high as 24 and as low as 18.

At 16? 2 years either way. Currently 19, and my absolute youngest would be 16, considering I'm currently in a relationship with a 16 year-old.

Your age divided by 2 is how many years you can stray from your age without it being creepy. For a sixteen year old, that's about 14-18.

Personally, I wouldn't have dreamed about dating anyone younger than 15 when I was sixteen, or older than me period.
