You're a gamer when no matter how low your favourite is rated, you will justify that its THE game of greatness.
Pretty much this.Daemascus said:A gamer is someone who thinks of games as their main source of entertainment. Casaul gamers just think of it as another form of entertainment, like watching TV or reading a book.
His question was "Obviously you play games, but what sets the hardcore gamer apart from the casual gamer?" If that is your your answer to the question it would mean my Mom playing Peggle qualifies as a "hardcore gamer"Dudemeister said:You are a gamer when you play games for fun.
That's it.
Why do people like you have to make up qualifications to make you feel better than others?
I would say the line there is when you start using the term "wife aggro".ghaldar said:You refer to wife agro as wagro.
Good point about the wife aggro.Nuke_em_05 said:I would say the line there is when you start using the term "wife aggro".ghaldar said:You refer to wife agro as wagro.
The furthest level of that is when your wife is on the vent channel and playing next to you. Even further when she's on the other team.
Gamer = someone who plays games.
"Hardcore" Gamer (as I assume you meant ): Different definitions I suppose.
Time: More than 1hr/day for more than 4days/week playing games.
Investment: Top of Global Leaderboards
Habits: Sit down at computer at work and without thinking place fingers of left hand on Shift, A, W, D, space.
Attitude: Constantly thinking about what they're going to do when they play next.
Not all apply, I suppose. Also, why do we need to hold other people to certain parameters in order to define and value ourselves?
Stalker was not mainstream 2 games ago and only the really up to date gamers know what it is.The Cheezy One said:i made a thread like this
