I don't think I could pick any one theme to invade/battle with, so I'll give you a select few of the tracks from my "combat mix tape"

Yeah, sorry about that. I could just see some guy like that though wanting some music for a fight.WolfEdge said:First I would slap him, open palmed, for speaking like that.
I'd love to hear about that more, but I'm guessing now's not the time to pester you about that. However, this does remind me of the how allegedly after/during the invasion of Baghdad Lionel Ritchie's 'All Night Long' was being blasted through the city streets. The Great Googly said:Ugh you know what.
I actually did this. I was in the marines when we invaded Iraq in March 2003. I drove over the border and we brought alomng a boom box and had a number of CD's with us.
I can't remember exactly the songs that were playing but I am pretty sure we played alot of AC/DC's Thunderstruck and Highway to Hell as well as System Of a Down cause they had some good tunes out around then. Also Eminem.
There was something very unreal about rolling into Iraq after they had lit all the oil fields on fire and everything around us was burning while listening to Highway to Hell.
Same here.Toranilor said:I love Hans Zimmer.
Especially you, you sneaky ninja master.Mcupobob said:Hope it already wasn't chosen.
not bad choices. and to embed a youtube video i just learned is basically thissoren7550 said:Envision this: you and whatever military you're a part of are about to go invade a country/enter battle. One of your mates turns to you and says "Yo man, we need to spice up this ***** with some jams, dog!" Reaching into your BDU jacket, you pull out a CD and hand it to him. He looks down at the CD and grins as he runs over to the nearest stereo/radio/vehicle with speakers and inserts the disk in. After a few seconds, the speakers crackle to life as you and your fellow soldiers move onward.
The question is, what is the song that is blasting over those speakers, pumping up your fellows and inserting dread into your enemies?
Me, I'd pick something composed by the master of epic composition Hans Zimmer, either this:

or maybe this:

(I'd put the actual videos here but I still haven't figured that out because I'm a dee-dee-dee)
