Pride... Pride is definitely something I lack. There may well be some things I have done that I could legitimately be proud of, but I can't think of anything and there is nothing I usually hold in my mind as something I should be proud of. Lately I can only focus on the negatives in myself, yet I lack the motivation and energy to change that, which is itself a negative quality...

I've managed to make my ELO rise with almost 200 over the last week [small](this rise may or may not be influenced by the change of partner)[/small] COMPLETELY BY MYSELF. I'm just THAT awesome.

Also, you guys should add me. EUW, right? I got the same name as here.

Other than that, I don't think I've done much worth noting, since. . . ever.

Um... I have a pretty high chance of losing my virginity at some point this year. Also I give some hardcore hugs. Seriously, that's all I got at this point.

With the whole theme of drivers licences going on in this thread. My driving instructor told me I could pass the drivers test after six hours of driving, that made me pretty happy. But my most recent awesome moment would be placing first in the Sophomore Championships for track.

I'm currently recovering from a psychotic break a had last year due to schizophrenia. Because of it, I've lost some friends and I dropped of college twice which can't be good.
I'm slowly getting my life back on track though, I'm coping with my schizophrenia almost as if I had nothing and I'm currently on my way to get a job that I'm sure I will love and I'll earn more than 75 000$ a year which I'm really proud of.
I can't wait to see what the future holds for me. :)
Look at you, all excited about the future. Like a boss!

But I'm not awesome...

In fact, I'm led to believe that I'm pretty much the opposite of awesome.

Things I'm proud of... well, I'm finally getting a story I've had kicking around in my head down on paper. I got an amp again, so I can finally play my guitar once more.

Other than that, I'm a walking collection of boring.
You are awesome! email me your book/ideas, I'd love to read them. Go on....
I'm not all that shy about sharing the synopsis. I'll just put it in a spoiler box.

The overall saga is going to span multiple stories, each located within a different country of the planet I'm creating in this universe. Each country was thrown into isolation after a world-wide war tore apart the land, literally, and after hundreds of years have passed, the first story begins; Focusing on the man who is essentially the catalyst that will bring the entire world out of isolation.

The first story is going to be centered on the life of this man, how he rose to obtain the power to defy a tyrannical ruling class and was subsequently sentenced to exile, which eventually leads to his discovery of a people not native to his home and his traveling to a new country, setting into motion the events that bring the nations back into contact with one another.

Every subsequent story will then focus on a new character, centered in each of the other countries and during a different time (say, for example, the second story might take place twenty years after the end of the first), and will chronicle the specific way they all rediscover their fellow people and the consequences therein, culminating in a final tale that will document the future of the planet now that the isolation has been ended.

It's going to be soft science-fiction, and each in-universe country takes influences from real countries here on Earth. The first story is lightly steeped in Japanese and Chinese culture, for instance, while one of the other countries is going to be heavily influenced by places like Wales, Ireland, and Scotland, and another is going to be melting pot-esque like the US.

The first story is the only one I've gotten heavily conceptualized and have started actively working on, so far.
That actually sounds very interesting. Do you have a title yet?

Two, technically.

The working title for the first story is "Tower Under The Sun", chosen because of the ecosystem of the continent it's based within, and the working title for the overall saga is "Star of Obsidian", which is an element of the soft sci-fi that will play into each story differently and is more likely to be subject to change as I work further on it.

I took out two bandits in Day Z by myself, despite only being armed with a pistol with one magazine and a axe and them both being armed with pistols (Ambushed them, killed the first one with the pistol, shot the second a couple of times but ran out of ammo, then hid, switched to the axe, then rushed the second one and killed him with it)

Felt awesome, since i brought an axe to a gunfight and won.

Hey, I just passed practical! (just before Christmas) I was so elated, I couldn't stop smiling involuntarily every now and again. It was a bit awkward at the funeral I went to, but other than that, yay! I was almost exactly as happy as was pissed off when I failed the first time.

I'm also quite proud of the work I have been doing for a friend's Doll's house, while I made the whole thing, I have just finished laying the parquet floor and varnishing with a few layers of yacht varnish, it's at 1:12 scale BTW (the pictures look like arse because I took them with my Blackberry).

I've lost 82lbs total and have 18lbs to go before I reach my 'long-term goal weight'. That will be a total of 100lbs lost.

I recently just finished crocheting a blanket for my sister, and I have requests for another two. I'm usually proud of every piece.

And I will also be taking the driving test soon (it's not as impressive since I'm 25)- but as soon as I pass, it's shopping for a vehicle. I've gone with people to buy vehicles before.....I hate it; but this one might be different because it will be mine. But I'll have the other person there, and they can suffer enough for the both of us.

[small]Edit: Congrats OP on passing your test.[/small]

I lost over 60 pounds from this last year. I started in July at 269 pounds, I'm almost 200 pounds. Everybody that sees me thinks I'm a twiggy now.

Awesome m8, I like it. I am working on a book myself (still in the early concept phases). I've envisioned a world where the Devil saves the Earth from God. The general concept being that God has decided he has enough souls to win the final battle, so he plans to initiate the apocalypse. The Devil, fearing he is on the losing side, sets a series of events into motion to save the world. Eventually culminating in the Devil forcing god to break his pact by having an Angel forcefully possess a human (without consent). Right now the details are very sketchy and it needs a lot of TLC to get anywhere, but I have hope for it making paper someday.

Thanks! You know how it is then, even when things are going well, and there's seemingly nothing to worry about; one worries, a lot. Then it's pretty easy to freak out and in that ruin the chances of what we have already made. So yeah, we kind of also see behind and think it isn't enough, that we have to achieve more, and well...

Wow, this thread is awesome, because it's help you to appreciate yourself, I think the world has a lot of expectations , and sometimes, once in a while bash that we have made a couple of things good.

Also, I'm proud of being in emotional state where I can say that I'm a nerd, and don't care if people try to bully on you because of that.

I spent a few days digging a really big hole in the ground in Minecraft once. I just turned a small island into a massive square hole in the ground. It was deep, wide and went all the way down to bedrock. This was before we had creative mode, so I had to make a wooden pickaxe, then mine stone to make a stone pickaxe, use it to mine iron, then mine some coal to smelt the iron into ingots and use them to forge an iron pickaxe. I then mined down until I found enough diamond to craft a diamond pickaxe and reach bedrock level.

There was no productive reason to dig a massive hole in the ground. I guess I just did it because I could. I got a lot of resources and materials out of it, though, so I guess that was kind of cool. This was also before the hunger bar, or I would have starved to death several times over during this glorious fool's errand.
