Most glitches suck, the game might freeze, or a dead body will wiggle around, but some glitches are great! Here are some of mine.

#1 Dogmeat Glitch (Fallout 3) Dogmeat's level scaling in Broken Steel is set up improperly, causing him to gain 500 HP per level. This only occurs if Broken Steel is installed prior to meeting Dogmeat, otherwise Dogmeat's level does not scale and his health is fixed at 500-Fallout Wikia

#2 National Guard Depot Bunker Glitch (Fallout 3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMnr_ovRZoQ (There's the video that showed me how to do it) You would stand against the wall and manipulate the camera to press a button on the other side of the door

Well thats all i can think of off the top of my head that i used, what about you?

I am the favorite glitch?

Why thank you.

OT: I had an odd one in Vampire: The Masquerade just last night in fact. One of the clans you can choose in the game has a "Mass Insanity" ability that afflicts a group of nearby enemies with, you guessed it, insanity, which forces them to attack OTHER enemies who are nearby. This eventually ends with the enemies so afflicted suffer a heart attack and die. Something.. odd happened, and instead of just affecting a few guys I was duking it out with, it instead worked on every single npc on the map, as I was in the middle of a large city. This led to several minutes of wonder watching old grannies and young hipsters and hobo's and vampires all duke it out across the city, and then seeing them fall over dead.

Amusing.

Back in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, if you paused the game and unplugged the PS2 controller, then plugged it back in, you could attack people before the match started during the countdown...

Pretty much how I beat the game, killed the bastards before they could fight back!

I believe I already posted this but in Fallout: New Vegas when you leave Helios-1 to go to the back area, every once in a while it glitches and rains down the old lady from the junkyard, all her crazy angry dogs and sometimes even molerats. They're all pissed off when they land too and start attacking you! Good times :)

Any of the super-jumps in halo 2, the money glitch in Fallouts 3 and NV (though I didn't use it in NV, never needed to), and of course the one in minecraft where you gain a clone.

Once people start adding it into their games deliberately, you can't really call it a glitch any more...

Quite recently I was playing Black Ops, and after a match the game calculated that I had something like -314175989274 exp. Not particularly fun, but entertaining in a WTF kind of way. Luckily it reverted to normal after the next match.

A much more awesome glitch was in Minecraft, where I somehow became stuck inside the rock underground. The result was that I couldn't move unless I chipped away the rock, but I could see all the caverns that the game had rendered in the area - so once I escaped, I hunted them all down. Happy mining! :)

Oh, speaking of Minecraft, booster carts are a pretty sweet glitch, one that will probably stick around.

There was a time where I was playing Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

I was fighting a Crowmaster, who was on a level lower than me. I fell off the ledge to fight him and as my foot connected with the Crowmaster, I was suspended in midair. The CM was stuck in a loop of bobbing and weaving and fruitless attack attempts, and all I could do was push the analog stick to enable a leg flailing motion.

That dog lover from oblivion, he was funny as heck. If you talked to him about his dogs he would say how much he loved them. When the conversation ends he immediately starts to kill them.

That is all.
By far. Hilarity, useful things, and wrecked game files came from that glitch. What more can you ask from glitch.

You mean the one where you jam two carts into the same space and then when you release them... POW! One of them sets off at a hundred miles an hour.

Oh wait, I remember another MC glitch - the fact that dynamite doesn't damage anything if it's in water. With that glitch, a bucket of water, and some redstone, you can build CANNONS! >:)
