I think I'll go with this seeing as how it feels tailor made for a scenario in which the hero and villain meet at a mutual ground and engage in a quick and brutal battle with the hero finishing off his adversary before succumbing to his injuries while he attempts to walk away. Also, killer riff.

It would be a katanna swordfight with the personification of evil, on some sort of exploding spacestation, at the centre of the universe, as said universe is exploding around us. Winner gets to kickstart the next big bang and rewrite reality to their own desire.

As for the place, I'd have to say the surfaced ruins of the city of Atlantis. As to why that is where it would take place, I really don't know it just came to mind as a fun place to be.
