I envy you, I really do. I'm not so young anymore (23 now), but I thought I was young enough to rough it on a sofa. Apparently not. I went out on the piss on Monday after failing an exam, ended up crashing out on my mate's sister's sofa, and got about an hour of sleep. Got frustrated, came home on the 7AM train, and called in sick to work. I seem to be a weakling :-(Skinny_Ninja said:
It isn't always my fault, though; a couple of weekends ago I slept on a friend's two-seater sofa, which is really only one-and-a-half seater. I'm over 6 foot tall, so I was hanging well over both ends. I finally got to sleep about 3AM, then the pair of absolute twats who live in the flat below him came home and had a screaming drunken row, complete with slamming doors and throwing plates.
OT: I really ought to be doing some damn work. Hardly anyone is in the office today, though, and whenever that happens I inevitably haunt the Escapist all day. Tomorrow, people are going to be annoyed that I've shifted none of my workload, but tomorrow is when Red Dead Redemption comes out so I'm not going to give a fuck!
As of an hour ago...absolutely sod all. All my exams are over and I submitted the last assignment. It is now officially out of my hands and the semester is complete..
