Killing guards in Assasin's Creed 2, probably. I still get a kick out of Nazi Zombies (original map only though), so that too, especially when listening to some thrash metal or something.

Have to echo the DMC3 sentiment. Especially the fight with Arkham. I just replay Mission 19 over and over again. Also, the second clash with Vergil is a roughly equal dose of badassery.

I mean, in the cutscenes before the fight with Arkham, Dante and Arkham both laugh like the both got high off of psilocybin mushrooms, (with Arkham inhaling sulfur hexaflouride beforehand) then Arkham transforms and Dante quips about how his father wasn't as hideous as Arkham's transformation portrays and asks while looking at his own reflection in his sword's blade "Can't you tell by looking at me?" In the cutscene halfway through the battle, Vergil appears, talks some smack and then tells Dante that Arkham shouldn't be the "main event" and Dante responds by telling Vergil he's right. After the brothers open a can of stylish whoop-ass on Arkham, Vergil joins Dante's gun-style finisher and even breaks a brief smile on his face before sending Arkham hurling back to the human world.

During the second Vergil fight, the music, alone, is badass enough to warrant the entire fight epic. After the fight ends, Lady interrupts and fires her Kalina Ann weapon, only to have her missile get sliced into four equal pieces. The last piece of badassery in that scene is where Arkham shows his break dancing skills and catches everyone in his little double spin kick maneuver that sends everyone off of the ascending pillar.

Oh, and playing Borderlands with my Berserker having the "Bad Ass" class mod equipped.

Splinter Cell Conviction made me feel totally badass playing it. Shame it was so short. The other Splinter Cells do the same for me too. And Crackdown, while I still had it; nothing better than jumping 20 feet into the air and landing with a thud, killing nearby enemies in the process.

Shadow of the Colossus. Honestly there is nothing like bringing down those 16 epic beasts. It feels like you just killed Godzilla with your sword. It doesn't get more badass than that

Depends... if i was lucky in game, the Ninja Blade - but only when i'd get the combos and other things right and do the QTE's right. Normally, Mass Effect 2. I felt really good when i killed the Garm before he even got on stairs, on second-to-highest difficulty level.

It would be Prototype, but I am stuck on what is hopefully the last boss fight:

Captain Something-Or-Rather turning into a super hunter. It's hard to feel like a badass when you are fighting someone who has all of your powers and is 10 times stronger.

Other than that, it is always great charging around New York eating people.

When i need to know that im the most deadly thing next to actually nuking the enemy i put Prototype on and just run rampent through the city...or if i feel the need to get things from a more personal viewpoint Dark Messiah still whispers promises of power mixed with the finess and elegance that can only be found when you fight your opponent with sword and spell

Prototype, nothing like storming through New York, devouring a old man then elbow dropping onto his poor and confused wife(Thanks Yahtzee) but also Just Cause 2 because theres nothing like playing as the son of Zeus and hispanic window-cleaner (again thanks Yahtzee)

Top 5 would probably be:

CoD BO's -multiplayer only (Sticks and Stones tomahawk + knife only)
Assassins Creed (any of the games released to date)
Mass Effect (again any of the games released to date)
Fallout New Vegas
Ace combat 4 (It's old I know)

Not necessarily in that order it depends on what kind of day I had and if I'm honest I'm considering getting DC universe so that may take a top spot.

Left 4 Dead. I step into a game and I slaughter countless hundreds with just a sword/magnum and sniper/shotgun. All for the sake of the human race. Tell me that THAT doesn't sound bad-ass.
