Brother. He's the only one I get along with. I talk to my dad about twice a year for 5 minutes (his birthday and mine) and I only visit my mother on Christmas, because I feel obligated to. The rest of my family I wouldn't even know how to contact and I don't care. I grew up an ocean away from them, I don't know them and the one annual family reunion I attended taught me I have nothing in common with them.

I laughed so hard when I saw this question, I knew the answer before I ever even entered the thread it's self. My dad, who encouraged me, is supportive of me and told me that I was never actually in trouble UNLESS I was in trouble with HIM. He also would punish me if I did wrong, but would always take into consideration weather or not he had done the same thing/something similar as a child. Also led by example to be yourself no matter what, and if people don't like who you are well, that's their problem, not yours!

My brother, I'm fed up with my parent constant nagging (although my bro do it sometimes) and being behind with techologies (can't use a mobile phone properly despite all mobile phone have a similar layout).

I don't know... I have a rocky relationship with pretty much my entire family. One minute we'd be getting along really well and the next we'd be arguing, yelling and fighting like we hated each other. Except my father, but I don't talk to him all that much, same for the my extended family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc.).
If I had to pick one, I'd choose my brother, that way he can fix my computer if it ever breaks down.
