YouTube and what makes you angry about it.

The things that piss me off the most are as follows. The current channel layout is a piece of shit and needs to be changed back to the way it was before the last major layout change. The fact that videos don't want to load at all (or at least not at any decent rate) anymore is annoying as hell, especially when the video freezes and you have to wait for it to buffer more. And the most recent problem is that YouTube seems to think it would be funny to make the default quality setting for every video 240p. If it was 360p that would be no problem, but 240 is an unbearable mess. I seriously think that the idiots in charge of YouTube are purposely trying to make it unusable for some sort of nefarious purpose.

I just figured out today how to access my youtube PMs.

I hate how that option to only show videos at least around 20 minutes long never fucking works.

There are two things that have irked me about YouTube for a long time now.

1. Bulletins feel almost entirely pointless due to them being easily buried in the subscription feed. Not like Google cares when you have the social feed to use instead but it's still there being really hard to find to begin with. Either this feature should be removed entirely or have an option to sort by bulletins.

2. I remember this little PM icon that was at the top of the YouTube page. This icon was there no matter WHERE you went on the site. As soon as you got a message, you immediately knew about without having to go to the home page. A. Very. Simple. Useful. Important. Feature. Gone!

As for the recent layout (I been put into a beta test for a new layout), it's actually really nice. The sort subscription function is broken but I can tell when there's new activity from one of my subscription with a number by their name. The subscription list is now scroll-able and also has a search box in case you want to get to a particular channel quickly.

They still haven't added any... useful modules to the channel layout though.
