Youtube sometimes sucks!

Ok. Here is what I mean by that.
I have an account that I did not like the name of it so I deleted it. I decided to create a new one and guess what: I couldn't link back to the same gmail account I just deleted. The account I deleted when I try to log in says: it is permanently disabled and when I try to sign up a new one it says that is already linked to the account I just deleted. Also people report that their accounts are being disabled without warning, etc. I know I myself deleted it but why the hell I cannot do it. Furthermore maybe there is a hotmail or yahoo person and do not want gmail and just want YouTube. How retarded can google get.

Did any of you have similar experience and did you find a solution?

I deleted an old youtube account a couple months ago that was linked to my gmail, and had no problems connecting my new account to that email. *shrug* I dunno, maybe some recent update came with a glitch.

Also if you use yahoo, or hotmail, that does not prevent you from getting a youtube account. So I don't really understand that last statement. :?

For a long while my Youtube password WAS youtube...I made the a/c when I was 10, I didn't have a great imagination.

Anyway, some guy started using the file as if it was his own...he even uploaded vids of him singing...

Apart from wondering how the fuck they did that, I then realised that people are too lazy to even make their own account nowadays, huh?

Well, In order to have YouTube now you must have gmail. You can put hotmail as a secondary in gmail and sign in just fine but gmail is a must anyway...

Oh yea and my video shows why I hate having another account. I don't want to change my old one.

The streaming is also horrible, as compared to websites like the escapist. Youtube, ten minutes of streaming for a two minute video. Escapist, is the converse. This is streaming enough to be watchable, not fully. If streaming is even the right word, I just know that when the black dot catches the moving line, no more hilarious cat video.

Youtube comments are the some of the worst things i've seen on the internet.

True. I particularly like the ones that threaten down-voters. I down-vote then Spam them. I get bored waiting for the video to stream in so I use the time to clean the comments.

ooh, icic. Yea, Google likes to link all their stuff together, so if you have have gmail, you automatically have an account for google docs, picaso, google reader etc. It's convenient for people like me, cause I like most of their services, but yea I could see how it would be annoying if you just want youtube without any of their other stuff.

Try complaining on their suggestion forums, if enough ppl are for it, google might (maybe) fix it so you don't need gmail. I'm sure your not the only one that has this problem.

Oh yea, OT; Yes I had an account that wasn't tied with my Gmail. Then one day I logged into youtube via my gmail (I have no idea why I tried that, to be honest), only to find 3 videos missing and my username changed from "Boneasse" to "Boneasseble". Strange indeed.
