YouTubes first mistake: Letting anyone post videos.
Then I suppose America's first mistake would be giving (mostly) everyone equal rights.
Uhh.. More than just Americans use Youtube mate.
You missed the point. I meant that the price of freedom and equality is that both stupid and intelligent people are allowed to do what they want. It just wouldn't be Youtube if only certain people were allowed to create and post videos; plus, how do you judge between good and bad videos if there is no bad-video medium to contrast with good videos? "YouTubes first mistake: Letting anyone post videos." is a paradoxical statement; it implies that giving everyone the power to do something is a mistake, and as any good red-blooded gun-toting flag-waving American would tell you, democracy (which includes the fundamental principles of "all men are created equal" and "power to the people") is God's way of giving all other forms of government the finger. In other words, something as infallible as democracy cannot be a mistake.
P.S. Those last sentences about democracy were satirical. YouTube, if it were to be represented as a government, would be anarchical. The only way to destroy anarchy is to destroy free will; and the only way to destroy free will is destroy the human race.
