With what I think is their final teaser before the reveal, here are some of my thoughts on the teasers and what I have gleamed from them.

A lot of people seemed to dwell on the title. I took it at face with the Shadow-guy being darkness and the light coming from the face as light. This could be either a good/evil system, or a prophetic dream of what is to come. Throughout the trailer, you hear water dripping in the background, representing our water.
In this basically self explanatory named teaser, you have spark, or electricity. I usually tend to consider shock as part of the elemental circle. In the beginning of the trailer, we see rain to represent, again, water. The circle that is being drawn is a lot like those of old 'magic circles'. You tend to see a lot of threes in these first two, which can usually represent Paganistic principles. Branches of said religion tend to use threes or "the trinity" as a basis for power. (This can also mean that only fire, impact, and shock will be represented in this title.)
In this teaser we get Earth. Wind blowing through hair for the representation of wind. We see a ring of fire circling around the hole, reminiscent of the fire 'circles' in the first two teasers.
This teaser features fire, obviously. While represented in the first three, they must have thought that this element needed its own video. Wind is visually represented by the dust that gets blown around. We see the 'smoke' reappear here. encircling the plume of flame. (This could represent the 'darkness path' of powers.)

Earth, Fire, Wind, Spark, Water, Light, and Darkness. Again, light and Darkness can be taken as a good/evil system much like what paragon/renegade is. The tri-circle can be seen as representing only 3 'powers'
I'm hoping that, if correct, this game would focus more on supernatural-esque styles.

Damn that looks interesting. I'm getting a feeling from these trailers that story will involve some sort of secret organization that either kidnaps or recruits people who have special powers. The impact trailer really sold this idea to me with the "Can you control your power" part at the ending and the fact that it seems she did that by accident. So the group rounds up those who "awaken" to their powers and helps them learn to use them for what ever reasons this group has.

Maybe there will even be multiple groups, a light and a Dark one.

does seem interesting

I'm not particually a fan of "you get special power through no effort of your own" plots....its kind of lazy in a way

A superpower RPG or a supernatural adventure would be interesting, but it looked like the bloke setting fire to tornadoes was the only one having fun. I wanna have fun, and if it means sinking houses into the ground, then so be it.

I'll change my tune if demonology comes into the picture, though!

I like the idea of a Bioware style RPG set in present day. I hope the powers are more interesting that pointing and shooting elemental blasts at people too.

Also there seems like a conspiracy vibe to it, which reminds me of the Secret World, which I really wanted to like but the MMO parts of it, like the combat and the fetch quests, killed it for me. If this could be like a single-player version of that I'm game.

Oh boy...after Dragon Age 2 and ME3 i didn't think they would hype up something this much, bound to be loads of dissapointed angry people that still haven't learned to curb their enthusiasm^^

PS: I am talking about a specific group of people...not everyone excited for the game is naive and bound to overhype it for themselves.

So it's from the TOR division. BioWare isn't a single entity, and since most of the talent who made the past games great left already, I wouldn't get on the hype train at all.

I'm going to say, I am cautiously optimistic for this.

Only time will tell though, so I'm not gonna get hyped.

I'm cautiously optimistic, too.*

The basic description I read is that it's more or less going to be Neverwinter Nights in the present day, but with superpowers.

I don't know about the "episodic" element of it, though. After all, the episodic content hasn't seen much success since the 90s, unless you count anything Telltale Games has put out.

*Translation: I won't buy until they've actually finished the game (or trilogy) and they've been released and proven to be good. So, a minimum of 2-3 years after release.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand confirmation!

It sounds kind of interesting, but there still seems like there's too little to go on. I've yet to form a concrete opinion.
Well fuck, I was actually slightly excited about it before this.
I wonder what happened to make 4 player dungeon raids with a DM become the next big thing, 'cos it certainly wasn't DungeonLand. Whatever it was I wish it hadn't happened, pretty much all of these games bore the hell out of me.

I think it's a little premature to say anything about this until I see some gameplay.

Concentrate on not messing up Inquisition, Bioware and then we'll talk.
