First - woohoo!

Next, I would focus on the refusal ending. In fact, in all the other endings, when everyone is rejoicing, the Reapers would come back and go LOL NO and go back to doing their spring cleaning. Everyone is fucked.

After this cycle ends, a new sentient race rises into prominence. A race that the Reapers have avoided for not being advanced enough. A race that has just finished building their first space faring vehicle. A race as resilient as the Krogans, as cunning as the Salarians. A race that has the next 50,000 years to prepare against the next Reaper cycle, after discovering Liara's beacon. A race that has no qualms about squashing threats.

The fucking Yahgs.

You play as Commander Motherfucking Yahg, with a wise-cracking Rachni sqadmate (you can never exterminate all the bugs) and a dumb blonde Vorcha love interest.

I'm pretty sure the Yahg did get owned by the reapers, due to them throwing Yahg husks at you in ME3.

If you are referring to these things [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Brute], they are actually a combination of Turian and Krogan, not Yahg.

Huh. I was sure there was a yahg husk in there somewhere... Guess not though. My bad.

It's cool, no biggie.

I can see where you might have thought they were Yahg though, seeing as how Brutes are far bigger than any Krogan ever will be.

I'd like a game set on the Citadel where you are some kind of mercenary bounty hunter hunting down a corrupt businessman who has done a deal with the bad guys and you need to use your tools and surroundings to complete your mission.

Think Arkham City with guns and in Citadel.

I'd work with the Destroy Ending. I don't know about much else, but I think a new threat would be nice. A batarian and an elcor companions would probably be in there, as well as a male quarian.

A sequel to the synthesis ending would mean everyone is all green and glows, which I reckon would get damn annoying.

I like this idea, but I would replace bounty hunter with Garrus.

Or alternatively, I would make a spin-off that blends tactical team-based shooter with rpg, once again with Garrus as the lead and chronicling his time playing Batman on Omega. ME2 talks about him having had a team, so there is plenty of opportunity for co-op. A bit like the ME3 multiplayer, with different characters you can level up and equip, but more expansive and featuring a full campaign to play through.

I suppose I should actually contribute to this thread. *ahem*

If it (so I have been told) hadn't been already covered in one of the comics, I would actually really like to see some sort of Mass Effect 3 DLC where you assist Aria T'Loak in retaking Omega from Cerberus, as she explains to you is the case during the game. It could occur right after the little side missions where you obtain the war assets of the Blood Pack, Blue Suns, and Eclipse. You'd take a shuttle with her, bring a couple squadmates, and go through a whole epic confrontation akin to how Mass Effect 2's Kasumi DLC played out.

I really think it could be a lot of fun.

That could be fun, though Garrus is primarily a sniper.. and that wouldn't really be that fun =/

I'd say "Fuck ME3's ending, lets go back" and do a game about Garrus and his mercenaries on omega.

What conditions come with these resources? Because I'm pretty sure that EA gave Bioware all the resources to make 2 and 3 and look how those turned out :p

I'd definitely make it so that you could travel to the Andromeda galaxy through some sort of super-relay, and there is a race that is enemies with the reapers or created them, sort of like the quarians and geth. There would also be an option to seed uncharted planets with life, and to go back and influence their development indirectly or directly (with guns) throughout the process of civilization. And when they finally mature as a race you can be their advocate for the council.

That sort of demands that Shephard is immortal though. He deserves to be worshipped as a God, it's only appropriate to make him one.

Not necessarily. Garrus is mostly shown using a sniper in cutscenes, but ingame he's a fairly allround character with higher than average physical stats, assault and sniper rifles for close to long-range fire support and some tech abilities to round him out.

Indeed, everything is better with more Garrus.

Most likely these creators were the first race the Reapers wiped out. And from that point on, the Reapers kept droning on about 'the creators always rebelling against their creators'.

Though there are some vague hints that the Keepers might possibly be those creators, turned into a different form to suit the needs of the Reapers, similar to the whole Protheans -> Collectors thing.

Hadn't really thought of it that way before, but I suppose it does make a lot of sense. Maybe a few survivors managed to escape this galaxy and run to others, which would help explain why Reapers feel the need to leave the galaxy inbetween cycles, maybe they're still hunting down small pockets of resistance.

Alternatively, I'd go with the World of Warcraft route and add an utterly out of place species that are playable characters.

I'd go all Star Wars on the franchise, introducing the newest installment: Mass Effect Origins: The Prothean Empire.

You follow Javik and his squad and their attempts at stopping the Reaper threat. You'd see how Javik went through the indoctrination of his squad, and their extermination.

Alternatively, I'd make a game with none other than Saren as the protagonist, called Mass Effect Origins: Synthesis. How he found out about the Reapers, how he wanted to stop them, and how he met Sovereign and Matriarch Benezia. Show his encounters with Anderson, see how he worked up his way as the established "Best Council Spectre", and relive his betrayal. Perhaps with alternative ending to Mass Effect 1.

Hell, we could even make a Mass Effect Origins game for Aria, or Jack Harper, David Anderson, the possibilities are endless!

I'd go tell the Dev team to have fun. I may fail at game design but at least I'm smart enough to know i fail at game design.

Yeah, stupid fucking gnomes.

Not really sure, to be honest. I've been playing a lot of Mass Effect 2 since I got it a couple days back (like 16 hours into it already), but I can't say I know enough about the games to do them any justice.

Action MMO set during the reaper invasion.

Also, RPG elements AND good shooting elements to where it does balance the two so we don't have two audiences bitching at each other.

Multiple Voice options for your character and advanced character design.

For the next 5 years the communities results alter the outcomes of the war such as prices, ammo, and territories. Space combat would exist. And the most important factor: FUN

Nothing. I wouldn't do one, because the story's over and it's fine as a trilogy.

...

...That or an RTS.

An X3-like space sim with ME3-like planetary missions.
Extensive weapon, ship, armour and equipment customization.
Separate leveling systems for ship piloting, empire management, and personal stats.
It'd be the perfect game.
