You've been locked in a cave with only one CD and DVD each, what are they?

CD would have to be Elliot Minor as there isn't a single bad song on it, and the DVD would probably be My Neighbour Totoro

First of all /yawn at all the "caves don't have TVs/locks/whatever" responses. You're missing the point a bit, this isn't exactly a realistic scenario.

Anyway,

CD: American Idiot (Green Day), they're not my favourite band but all the songs on that album feed into one another to make it more than the sum of its parts and I love it.

DVD: Lord of the Rings trilogy (ok, I'm cheating that's three DVDs but shhhh)

As there's generaly not a supply of food in a cave I'd go for a CD made of steak and a DVD made of fried potato.

CD: The companion soundtrack to the first Resident Evil movie because it had a really good selection of music (Coal Chamber, Manson, Rammstein, Slipknot, Ill Nino, the list goes on).

Movie: Religulous, I've seen it about 8 times at this point, and I still enjoy it ever time I watch it, so I wouldn't get bored with it, and it'd be good for plenty of laughs, which I'd probably need if I were trapped in a cave.

Rush's Moving Pictures for the CD, and The Complete Guide to Escaping Caves With Nothing More than a Rush CD for the DVD.

Aren't I clever.

CD: Three Days Grace - One X

Movie: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
haven't seen that yet. is it worth [totally legally] downloading?
Have you played Final Fantasy VII? I got the film as a present, but I haven't played the game (or any other Final Fantasy games) and I spent the entire movie thinking WTF?! It was still good despite not knowing who anyone was.

My choices:

CD: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series 1 (The original radio show)

DVD: Family Guy: Blue Harvest (I can't watch the same film more than once every few months or so)
