Why the hell would I throw my controller across the room? I can see of no reason to throw my controller across the room while playing a game unless its to hit somebody in the face who just broke into my house. I think anybody who actually does throw theirs should instead put it down and start taking some anger management classes.

I'm with you. I've never thrown a controller out of anger. Mainly, because I don't have anger management issues. So if I'm throwing a controller it's to distract the person who broke into my house, or because there was some huge poisonous spider crawling on it.

That said, I have put down the controller before. There were one or two particularly emotionally shocking moments in Dragon Age 2...when I had to put the controller down and recompose myself because I'd just seen or done something terrible. There were a couple of moments playing Silent Hill 4: The Room...when I was alone in my apartment at night...with surround sound...that I had to put the controller down and recompose myself because I was getting a bit too scared.

But...I'm not the throw or punch things out of anger type.
