I'm not that much into live-action movies, so there are A LOT of stuff I probably should have seen but didn't.
Like, looking at the stuff people say in this thread, most of them.

But then there are also a lot of movies I've caught on tv and 'seen' them, while I was doing something totally different, so...

I just recently found out I haven't actually seen Robocop, for example. I've seen Robocop 2, and just thought that was it.

Damn, you lot should be ashamed, I've seen damn near everything you people have listed (Yes, I do have a life but almost all of these films I've watched before I was 15). Some I just don't want to Like any resent film Amaz Spidey 2 and the Second Star Trek but that's out of spit.

I've never seen The Raid 2 but i'll do as soon as the bru-ray is out.

I'm sure there's at least one person on here who's never seen Star Wars.
Ok, op. I'll be that 'one person' (note: haven't actually looked at all the other posts, so someone else might have already said this.

I haven't seen star wars. At best, i saw maybe 5 minutes of one whilst sitting in a hotel room (and even then, I'm not sure which one). I don't really have any intention to change that, either: They just have no appeal to me.

Now, on to the rest. I haven't seen:
Matrix (fully: got about half way through, then stopped once i realized the film would finish at 1am)

Citizen Kane (honestly, apart from on the internet, no one has actually said i should watch this)

Most of the Indiana Jones movies (saw Crystal skull and most of the one with the thugee cult thing and the dude who rips out a guy's heart)

Robocop (again, no intention to)

Star Trek (No offense, but it looks like awful)

Titanic

Shawshank redemption (even though it is literally sitting in front of me on my desk)

ANY Godzilla movie
To be fair, there's probably more: I'm not really the movie type

Starting with my most boring one; Citizen Kane. I know I won't enjoy it, I've read up on Citizen Kane and the more I read the more I realise that the significance of the film seems based more around how it completely revolutionised the artistic medium of cinema, creating tonnes of cinematic devices that we take for granted today. But I feel obliged to watch it, even though whenever I watch a film from before the 70s I always feel it seems incredibly bare bones mroe modern cinema.(Of course you can't blame older films for that, cinema was in a very different place before the auteur movement).

On top of that, Psycho. I really like Hitchcock aswell, the guy makes great films, and yet I have never seen his most famous work.

The Goodfellas also falls into this category, as a guy enjoys both Martin Scorsese and Gangster films it is incredibly odd that this film has just flown under my radar for so long.

And without a doubt my biggest sin - Lord of the Rings. I've read the books, and I've seen the first film once...or twice...or three times...but for some reason I have never finished the entire trilogy.

Well Frozen was on my list of "Nope, never seen that one" until just yesterday. :p

Gotta say, I call shenanigans against it. No epic villain song = no "it's good" vote from me! For that matter, it seemed like they got to the 3rd act and realized "Crap! Guys...you do realize that we don't even have a villain in this story, right? We at least need SOME kinda conflict!" so they kinda shoehorned one in literally in the last 20 minutes. They should have been setting him up from the beginning to be the villain or they should have said "fuck it!" and gone all out: just straight up no villain to be found.

To be more on-topic, I can honestly say I've never seen The Lego Movie. I've wanted to see it, but I just...kinda...haven't.
I personally like how they handled the villain in Frozen. The lack of foreshadowing made the reveal pretty shocking to me. Although I can understand wanting a good villain song.
Not to mention that "Let it go" was actually the villain song. Elsa was originally going to be the villain but the way the actress delivered the song made the writers to decide to rewrite her character as an anti-hero.

I watch movies. Lots and lots of movies. Lately I've been catching up on some old classics, but there are still a few I have not yet gotten to:
"Once Upon a Time In the West"
"Casablanca"
"M"
"Down by Law"
"Seven Samurai"
"Frankenstein"
And probably many more. In regards to newer movies, I have seen every decent horror/sci-fi/action movie of the 80's except Predator.

Actually, let me just post my watchlist of movies I haven't seen but want to in the immediate future. It's a mix of classics, weird movies I can't find anywhere and stupid ones I just gotta see for no other reason that it's been referenced somewhere.

I kinda wish they did....Disney Villans Rarely have that kind of complexity

I'm dying to know what the original story was because even if they made her a Villan I doubt she'd be given the "disney villan death" treatment..she's far too sympathetic

Shawshank Redemption. I'm not really that interested in watching it either, since it doesn't seem like something I would enjoy.

Strangely, I just seen the original Star Wars Trilogy for the first time a few days ago. Haven seen the prequels yet, though.

Also, for the longest time I never seen the first Terminator movie, despite Terminator 2 being one of my favorite action films.

Other than that, I never seen...

Any of the Alien movies (I've seen Aliens once a long time ago, but barely remember it. I've seen all the Predator movies, though.)
Any of the Rambo movies
Any of the Rocky movies
Any of the Indiana Jones movies
Any of the Lord of the Rings movies
Any of the Mad Max movies
Citizen Kane
The Godfather
Goodfellas
Fargo
Dirty Harry
The Shawshank Redemption
Stanley Kubrick's The Shinning
Halloween
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Casablanca
Back to the Future
Ghostbusters

I'm sure there's more but that's all that comes to mind.

There are loads, but the one that always gets a crazy reception (especially with girls) is Titanic.
But then there are loads of "classics" like ScarFace and many others, already mentioned in this thread.
Girls can't believe I also haven't seen Titanic. I might catch it on Netflix one of these days, but I have seen the part on Dailymotion where he draws a naughty picture of Kate Winslet (of course done very tastefully).

Others:

Scarface (though it's not talked about quite so much anymore)
Back to the Future
Avengers (Marvel superhero party quest? big deal.)
The Goonies (wasn't old enough to catch it when it was popular)
Transformers
Heat
Sixth Sense
Ghostbusters

I haven't gotten a vocal reaction for some of these, but these are the most glaring holes in my movie literacy.

And to the poster a few back who mentioned not having seen Casablanca, Once Upon A Time In The West, Predator, and M, you have a few treats ahead of you. The first 2 of those are easily in my top 10 of all time, and M and Predator are both damn good.

As far as Citizen Kane goes, if you like old movies, or if you're interested in film composition, stories behind a film, or just basic themes, Citizen Kane is essential. Otherwise, it's not high priority because you might find the core story a bit underwhelming.

Inglorious Bastards
Schindler's List
the original Predator (though I've seen every other one)
Scarface
Titanic
Jurrasic park

Really just these. I'm a big movie buff but I just have no desire to watch these LOL

Top Gun is the film I frequently get told to watch due to the fact I haven't seen it. I think I haven't seen it due to my dislike of Tom Cruise, and also it just looks boring. Watched about a third of it recently, and it was entertaining enough but not my thing.

Also, the Back to the Future sequels. Never seen them, never really wanted to see them (bar 3).

Alien,
Aliens,
Terminator(all of them),
Not one of Stanley Kubrick's works,
Jurassic Park,
A whole other bunch of movies that I don't have the mental energy to list now.

That's about it. Most of them can be blamed at my country of birth's piss poor tv services, but some can be attributed to my general indifference. I do plan to watch Stanley Kubrick's movies, and if I'm not too disturbed, I might move on to Alien(s).

As for Terminator and Jurassic Park, well... they never got me as "wow, that premise is so amazing that I must see it", but I still plan to improve that.

I would just like to point out that you apparently saw the two bad ones. As far as I'm concerned, only the 1st and 3rd movies are worth a damn. The other two can take a long walk off a short pier.

OT: Citizen Kane. Should have seen it, but never have gotten around to it.
12 Years a Slave
Most Tarentino films outside of Kill Bill and I simply do not want to.
The newest Star Trek movie. The first reboot took a flaming dump on the franchise. Have no desire to see more of the same.
The newer Spiderman films. Just not interested.
Titanic. When literally every single person I personally know who has seen the film tells me they regret having gone .... yeah. Not interested.

I have never seen Schindler's list. I was going to borrow my mother's copy, but after hearing the film was spread over two DVD's I decided against it. A film that takes two DVD's to watch is a film I just do not have the time nor the energy to watch. I also have never seen that perennial boxing day favourite, Lawrence of Arabia for very much the same reason, as that film seems to be on for half a day.

Those two alone make me cry for you! ;) My existence would be greatly cheapened if I'd never heard John Lennon joke about how "She looks more like him than I do." Or watching the inimitable Peter Sellers play three characters in one amazing movie.
One of my best friends has the latter movie and eventually we'll get around to watching it. And tbh, I'm not a big Beatles fan so I'm wary of anything that involves any of the Beatles.

Also, I've both seen and read Breakfast at Tiffany's (seen it at least twice) and for the life of me I can't remember a single thing about it. Other than being bored during both watching and reading it.

William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet, 1996. I remember it being very popular when I was in high school.
Just wanna throw my voice in here, maybe light some fires:
The reason Romeo & Juliet is so overhyped is because most teenagers don't get what the story really is about. It's not a romantic love story about two people who aren't allowed to love each other, but do anyway. It's about a teenage flick that goes terribly bad. It's basically a tragic comedy, not a love story.
Part of that is due to how it's taught. However, that version of Romeo + Juliet is the most accurate version of it dialogue wise funny enough. Personally I like laughing at all the sex jokes that are in the story and were intentionally put in there by Shakespeare. Makes it funnier especially when someone's trying to pull off a serious interpretation of it.

*looks through dvds* Really? I wonder why hers is two discs. My copy (which I still haven't watched but that's because I haven't read the book yet) is only one disc.
