I feel that the last Yu-Gi-Oh! thread went really well, so it's time for a new one. Yes I know Secrets has been out for a while now, but I haven't been able to pick up any packs so I decided to put this off until (hopefully) everyone had a chance to pick up a pack or two.

So let's look at what came in this set:
Not a whole lot. Well, Burning Abyss and Qliphort got LOTS of love with all that support.
Infernoids, Nekroz, and Hermit Youkais are finally getting into the TCG which is nice. What bothered me though is they added a bunch of the Infernoids, but when it came to the Hermits, or Yosenju for their TCG name, they got Magat, one of the best cards, and Tsujik, the worst card in the deck. Nekroz didn't get too much either but there's always next set.
I don't really feel like going too in-depth for this set, honestly there isn't much worth talking about. There were a few little gems in it but for the most part it was all about Qli's and BA. If you're not playing those this set was pretty disappointing.
Let's move on to the fun part, for anyone who did pick up some packs, what did you get? I pulled a Magat which I was excited about, even though he's a common. The Gem Knight Lady... I didn't really care about that. Lightning Rod Lord was a nice pull, but I quickly traded it. The last card worth mentioning was a Superheavy Samurai Trumpeter. I don't feel like going into commons but if you want too you can. A buddy of mine pulled a Wendigo and Caius the Mega Monarch. I only bought 5 packs though and I'm happy. I only run one Magat in my Hermit deck on DevPro so getting one was good enough.
So, what did you think of Secrets of Eternity? Were you happy with it? Did you get all the cards you wanted? Frankly, I thought it was a let down.
