Yeah, I've been there. All I can say is, distract yourself, and give yourself time and space to heal. Spend time with friends, play games, and avoid things that remind you too much of her.

My first avatar was an undead bunny, the second a different undead bunny, the third a quick avatar I fashioned out of a screen shot from .Hack//Sign, the fourth was this image, minimized:

It really is a pity that I can't go back to it now because of the new restrictions on avatar sizes. Even if I were a Publisher's Club member, it'd be too big. I've tried resizing it but I can't do anything to it without destroying the quality. And so, unfortunately, LEAPFROG is out of commission for good, or at least it's highly unlikely I'll ever be able to return to it here.

You feel cheated. You gave a lot of yourself to her. You sacrificed and risked things for her that you wouldn't have done if you knew beforehand that she would leave you. You find yourself going back and forth over who's to blame that it ended. Was it your fault? Was it hers? It can't be her fault...she's perfect, like an angel... Does it mean it's your fault? What was it about you that drove her away? Does that mean there's something wrong with you? That thought fills you with despair. Not good enough. That means you're not good enough. Were you ever good enough? But then, you remember little things. What if she's not the angel you thought she was? Despair turns into anger. Anger turns into hate. Why did she leave me alive?! This is painful! WHY DID SHE LEAVE ME ALIVE?!
Harness that hate. Use it to improve yourself physically and mentally. Climb the social ranks. Show her that *she* was wrong in leaving you. No one leaves you! NO ONE! Swear to yourself that you will not rest until you are better than her in every way possible. PERFECTION OR DEATH.
The extent of your hate, the extremes you are willing to go through, is a reflection of how much you loved her.

edit: in fact do whatever you think you need to do, just make sure to not let yourself commit emotional sucide, my case is fairly different than yours but still, do whatever you need to, let go, hold on to her, think of good memories, mind altering things, find a different girl
