So I realise I may get in a wee bit of trouble for this, Hello Mods, but is anybody else annoyed with the new ads at the first second after Zero Punctuation loads? At least youtube has the decency to let you skip them after 5 seconds and plays different ones every once in a while. All these have done is guarantee that I will never try Orville Redenbocker's new popcorn chips because the commercial is too annoying. Also I have just discovered that adblock is sadly useless because while it does allow me to skip the things, it also mucks up the video so I can't set it to full screen or even pause mid-video. so, what do you folks think, good idea or annoyance?

The mods can't help with that, you need to talk to the Tech Team [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Tech-Team]. Also, linking to, advocating or saying that you use software like AdBlock that blocks site revenue is against the CoC [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/codeofconduct]. Please consider white-listing the site if you do.
