Voice was a little off-putting. Test run of a new mic, perhaps?

From what I've heard and seen so far, its clear that AC 2 is better than the first. I enjoyed the first to a degree but I just can't afford it right now. Even if I could I've still got Dragon Age and Borderlands (can I assume this won't be review?ed) to go.

I think he's using new audio equipment. When I first started listening to it I was thrown off. This is Yahtzee? Or did he bring in another guest reviewer? But no it's him, he's just using better audio equipment...I think...well it's different I know that.
Only other explanation: he's using a friend's computer because he fried his audio card, or he threw his computer out the window out of frustration or something. But it's still him. Or maybe he's just trying something different.

It sounds to me like he was consciously pitching his voice lower. Perhaps to sound more like one of those Italian tossers he was talking about? Of course he should have remember from the Mario lesson that all Italians are intended to hit the soprano notes with the tone of a dying mouse.

yea I noticed his voice was a little different, but he sounded normal towards the end of the video.

I couldn't concentrate on the video because his voice sounded so different. It was like watching a movie where the audio wasn't synched properly to the video.
I hope that gets fixed soon (or I get use to the new sound). I look forward to my Wednesday rant from Yahtzee.

Perhaps Yahtzee has one of those weird summer colds that float around the beautiful Australian beaches while those of us in the northern hemisphere are freezing our balls off.
It didn't stop me from enjoying the revelation that Ass Creed 2 is better than Ass Creed 1, Ubisoft is still employing plenty of morons and I'm not the only one who thinks gnocchi is awesome.
