I loved fighting the big sisters but that's just me.
I played on normal mode and was still owning the bitches....why is there an achievment for killing one without dying?
I played the game first time on hard and at the first Big Sister I killed it without dying, it really wasn't that hard. The game is a little repetitive, shock and smash, rinse and repeat. Still fun though.

The game is definitely better game-play wise than the first but the storyline was a let down, no real twists and a bit bland.

"GAHD DAMN SPLOICERS!"

Great review! Although I disagree, I felt that gameplay wise, this game was a massive step over the first. Story wise and atmosphere wise, the game did not even begin to compare to the original. Still, it was pretty cool to get the added backstory to Rapture.

Yatzee you fool! What are you doing reviewing a game when THERE IS A PORTAL ARG (augmented reality game for all you not acronymicly inteligent) GOING ON! If there ever was a geeky pursuit worth taking this is it!!!!!!!!! The mystery leads to either portal 2 or episode 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I normally agree with the reviews, but this one I disagree. I'm critical of games, quite strongly so. I hate MW2 for it's crappy multiplayer (Kill streak rewards turning the game into a campfest, poor game hosting that doesn't use dedicated servers, etc), many other big name games I'm not a fan of because they're not as good as sheep say they are. But Bioshock 2 was fun and I liked it. The concept wasn't as fresh since it's a sequel but a follow up to Bioshock was going to be hard to top. It would be nice to anticipate sequels to be great like Half Life 2 was when compared to the original Half Life - but let's remember Half Life 2 was in development for six years. Bioshock 2 came out just under three years after the original Bioshock. You can't reasonably expect quality to come out in quick order.

They managed to show another side of the story not seen in Bioshock that fills the player in more. I mean consider you could play Bioshock now with increased knowledge of what's going on and how it happened that you did not know before Bioshock 2. Being a sequel I don't think Bioshock 2 will be as memorable to me as the first, but I had a lot of fun playing it and think it's a great entry in the series. Please note the only criticism made against BS2 in this review is primarily plot related and concept related. Both of these I think are way more of an independent view, some people will be bothered by them others not. The only games that are bad are ones where the controls are bad or gameplay lacks fun value due to bad design. Nothing about BS2 is bad, other than Yahtzee apparently doesn't like Big Daddies or Little Sisters.

Maybe you could say BS2 is for the fanboys or whatever - I liked it and I'm not a fanboy but I thought BS was a great game. I look forward to the next entry in the series.

Yeah as I said he's getting, well rather pathetic (all he does is complain)

I loved this game (though I'm trading it in so i cant get Metro 2033, also its only worth two playthroughs and I dont do Xbox Live anymore)

I knew he was going to punch it hard, but I was expecting him to like the improvements... but then again, a game based on improvements was never his thing.

"Stop crying you little *****, I'm trying to eat these cakes!" That line made my day. I am disappointed that Bioshock 2 is more of the same. I may play it eventually, but not anytime soon.

He's a critic. It's his job to complain. If he said that every single game was worth its weight in Branston Pickle then nobody would watch, would they?

There were two improvements in this game.

1) Revised Hacking System.
2) The fucking drill.

Aside from that, really not worth the money I spent on it, BioShock exceeds it in every way. Yahtzee made me giggle today, a very good review.
