Loved the comment about the hitman trailer. It was just random garbage that would have made for a awesome exploitation film. But has very little to do with I dunno. Stealth!

Anyway, it looks like Watchdogs is ready for a sink or swim situation when it comes out, I hope it's the latter because it does seem to have some interesting mechanics in there.

Well done, probably the best review of anything I've ever seen you "review". E3 is and has been pure corporate shit for as long as I can remember...and I'm 33. Nintendo and their next system is pretty much a joke, and yes watch dogs definitely took the whole shit-fest.

He could have said that he didn't like it and I wouldn't have had a problem with it, but there's a difference between that and saying that it doesn't even exist.

He didn't even get around to Halo, unless you count that one-off comment about Master Chief's new hat.

Well, I kinda assumed that that comment about Master Chief having a new hat meant that he included Halo in his list of games that had no gameplay. It wasn't helped by him saying that he had wanted to get to Halo and him mentioning Halo also implied that it wasn't an exception.

If it'd been explicitly stated that Halo 4 showed no gameplay then I could understand if you took exception, but it wasn't. Halo was pretty much a cliff note in the video, so it strikes me as making a big deal out of nothing.

Wow, I didn't realize that an English accent just involved speaking in an American Accent and mildly changing the pitch. It turns out that all those people I met in England the 8 times I've been there, any person I've ever spoken to on the phone or over the internet and all 25 of my English family members have just been having a laugh at my expense for all this time.

lol guess I've learned from Yahtzee not to fall for the E3 hype machine
I def waited until the gameplay demos before feeling excited for anything, and some those I thought (Halo 4 and AC 3 looked good)
but especially the Watchdogs demo, which was one I randomly watched because I was bored and WOW... shiny

my friend got all excited by the Wii-U presentations and I tried to see why but turns out my friend is just kinda braindead and not my friend anymore :[

I didn't get hyped for Master Chief's new hat, I got hyped for Master Chief punching Ghost Rider in the teeth when he tried to throw him a surprise party.

Heh. I've been saying cinematic trailers are a big waste of money and time since 2003, before I became disappointed with the industry.

However, I've seen game play videos for all the games you mentioned on Youtube though. Did they mostly just show cinematics at E3 Yahtzee?

I've tried watching E3 once, but got bored very quickly. More shooters, more sequals/prequals/in-betwenquals of shooters or other games I don't play, and too much hype, not enough substance. I prefer to wait until a game is out and people have had time to play it before I decide if I want to bother looking at it. I also try to wait until the initial excitement of the game's release to die down since some people might give a game a perfect review just because they're excited about it and likely to overlook flaws.
