Funny, like most of the shows but ...

One of the part I liked the most with ZP was the music used for the introduction and the ending.
Why has it now been fixed to this annoying/generic/bad/teen-ish one ?

Ba Dum Tish indeed.

Incidentally, I like Ninjas. Especially the Last one.

Here are some ideas:
(1) SABAM called, it wants $$$, hence the 'Fair Use' disclaimer and Generic Riff v.0.971
(2) Marketing called, it determined Zero Punctuation's main/target demographic and Generic Riff v.0.xxx is what they love

Don't fret, ZP's still free for all and at least the content, the most important bit I'd say, has been left untouched. For now.

Glad that CC is acceptable to some here; recent ZP reviews have been loaded down with lots of references - even of his earlier vids - its getting hard to stand. This video was pretty damn good regardless, glad to see the NG crowd on the wrong side of Yahtzee.

Dear god I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Personally I hate all of team ninjas games, from there sad over sexed half assed tekken rip off fighters to there sad over gorified devil may cry rip offs they, in my opinion only make shit and I feel sorry for the gamers who actually waste there money on that shit. I hope yahztee reviews soul calibur 4 next, I look forward to more inevitable boobie and 'the japanese are messed up' jokes.

Let me just get it out of the way before more uninspired 'good one' posts appear that I want Yahtzee to go back and watch some of his very first ZP/FR videos. I was wondering what was so different, in a bad way, about his latest films and I discovered that it's because he went from a very proper and professional sounding critic to an angry videogame nerd... and we already have one of those.

Essentially, he should stop yelling and sounding so excited as much as he should just sound like a carefree reviewer.

If you don't believe me, watch this video again, then watch the Heavenly Sword video.
I agree for once. It really feels different. I like the older reviews better. But I guess that's what happens when you go mainstream.

Does yahtzee actually "like" anything?...all his reviews, while funny, cynical, and jaded are always negative....some of us actually like button mashers, interactive linear stories, or sequels depending on our mood. Why does every game have to be held to the standard of revolutionary and innovative? SOme play mechanics are simply tried and true..

One thing I disagree with him on is that he says that the claw/talon is the best weapon; to me the best weapons where the Dragon Sword and the nunchucks.

He masturbates to Half Life and Portal. Remember one of his video's? That innovation doesn't equal good? Yeap, he's the one who sad that, don't know wich video exactly (but I bet there is at least 1 yatzhee-holic out there who exactly knows wich video I mean).

So does he hate the Wii or like it? In some other reviews he gives it lots of praise but in others suck as this he digs on it.

I think he likes the concept, but hates what (all, even Nintendo) developers are doing with the concept of the Wii. It cóuld be great, but according to him the games spoil it for the Wii. I thínk.

Sorry Yahtzee, ninjas are way better then pirates.
A pirate i was meant to be, trim the sails and roam the seas.

When Ninjas get an equally awesome song then the discussion can start.

Well if thats the case i agree with him. Even though i think Nintendo does a great job, the Zelda "Apple sauce" gets better after a couple od hours.

Hate to go off topic, but ninjas don't have songs. You want to know why? Because singing would rather defeat the point of being a ninja. That's why there's no 'Talk like a ninja day'. Everyone would have to be completely silent.

I was really enjoying this review until a totally unexpected betrayal bit me in the ass...

PIRATES!?!?!

PIRATES YAHTZEE?!?!?
I'm sorry we may no longer continue this relationship when you ally yourselves with Drunk Seamen who are a little too keen on complete isolation for my interest.

The jokes and the criticised elements of gameplay were a tad on the unoriginal side, Yahtz. Slow week?

However, anti-George Lucasism is never to be dismissed!
