The mentioning of the love interest shoehorn reminds me of the fate of the attempted movie adaption of H.P. Lovecraft's "At the Mountains of Madness" which met an apalling but not totally unsuprising end when it was rejected by Warner Bros. for not having a happy ending or romantic subplot.

i also used gamefaqs for the coat of arms

i feel special knowing ive been in love with silent hill 2 ever since i played it back in the day

especially when mannequins are hurled out onto the street in front of you while your walking

mind-fuck games should make a comeback

i've never played this game. nor do i want to. why make a game called 'silent hill' if it's not even set in the bloody place.
personally i think climax and hilix should be kicked in the nuts, tied up and thrown into the back of a car then reverse it off a cliff, then we'll never have to enjure the wrath of bad gaming design, bad storylines and sh*tty combat.

don't get me wrong i love the first 3 silent hill games (back when the professionals were doing it)but there's only so much you can do in a haunted town. there are a lot of horror ideas that have not yet been explored.
i heard that there is going to be a remake of the first silent hill, silent hill shattered memories. i loved the idea (Hyocritically) but when i heard that climax studios were doing it i thought we'd just be getting yet another bloody origins.
so when i found out you run around pointlessly heckling your daughters name running around with nothing more than a torch and being cased around by naked children i couldn't help but feel a bit put off, if you get my drift.

Should I bother pointing out that this technically isn't Silent Hill V? You know since it doesn't have the arbitrary number attached to it.

This game was different from the other silent hills but it was still very enjoyable, and the silent hill series will always be the best horror game series ever cause most of the other games in the genre rnt scary aka the new resident evil games or don't make any sense

Great review again, I loved the ending you do them so insync with the actual characters movements sometimes I think that thats what its supposed to be.

This game kind of freaked me out, but only because the main character has the same name as me, so everytime someone adressed him in the game, It felt like they were adressing me personally which was REALLY creepy.

They should have a feature in horror games where you imput your name in and they somehow have the game put your name in the dialogue. although I guess it would probably pronounce it funny and cause a lot of people to put in names like assface or something (though that would be funny).

the ending was terrible.

I had a mouthful of coke when the 'I doubt he had Double-D's' and 'traumatised by a smoothie' came up. Congratulations, you are one of very few people to actually make me gush-laugh all over my computer screen.

Even if it is all now very sticky.

I think this game had potentional but it just didn't pace itself right. Also, adding nurses and P Head for fanservice seems a little desperate. They don't fit into anyones story like they did James.

After episode section almost had me busting a gut with laughter. Congratulations.
