Macho Man - spot on, brilliant!

Haven't heard the second one, but will get on it! Is it about being naked?
You could use that for any game which involved a large, muscly, semi-naked man as its main character.
Similarly, if it just so happened to be at sea, you could use 'In the Navy' instead. No idea about what kind of game could elicit 'YMCA' as a sutible intro though.

Conan is the archetypal large, muscly, semi-naked man though!

Me, I've said it once and I'll say it again. The new intro and outro are EPIC! Especially that squeedly guitar solo during the credits.
Only an Epic of Fail.
Aaaawe.... But... solo. You know what, fine. Um... I challenge you in Mortal Kombat! Do you accept, or do you yield?
hahahahaha! That's the spirit, we take it to the court (or the control pad in this case) nuff talk... (that's probably the best response Iv'e seen on any thread)

I prefered Yahtzee without his theme tune, maybe that should be played at the end
i love his videos but i liked the old ones cos i would hear the song and think(Oh yeah i completely forgot about that song) and go download it or buy the cd but now its just kinda wow hes got a theme tune... ZOINK!

I would Have Andrew W.K. - Get Ready To Die intro at the start
and
Ballroom Blitz - Misfits(or sweet not too sure) at the end

I think 'Yellow Submarine' By the Beatles would be good, but hey!
That's just me.

Anyone who suggests Blue Oyster Cult gets a gold star. Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy theme tune though beats my Red Dwarf theme tune.

TOO HUMAN

Opening:
Too Much Too Young - The Specials
Closing Ride of the Valkyries - Wagner

Surely you guys can think up better then my two now!

Late to the party, I know, but suggesting 'Hair' for the Braid review was genius.

Anyway, SPORE
Opening: 'Circle of Life' from the Lion King.
Closing: 'Batman Theme' by Neil Hefti (the old TV series.)

Thanks! Couple of excellent suggestions there too.

I was also trying to think of a decent god-related song, but thought evolution-based songs would be more fitting.

Oooh, really good ones there!

XBLA Double Bill (and retro games in general)

Opening:
'The Way We Were' by Barbara Streisand
Closing 'Those Were The Days' by Mary Hopkins/'Happy Days' theme

A quote from 'Those Were The Days' -

"We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days"
