Mario Fan Reply: If every game that is supposed to be great isn't an FPS, mmo/rpg,A sports game with a new number or a GTA/God of War look alike, then sure, I'd do something new. Even if I wasn't playing Mario, would I be playing a game that is 'different'?

Maybe other critics have evolved past the 'nintendo will die, and I hate it just because' phase. Could it be that the rating on the game was about what the game delivers, and not its popularity with anti-wii whiners? Sure, it was the same old crap, but it was fun to play. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Sure, I too thought it was repetitive, and i'm not saying anything yatz said was false, but the fact is, its fun to play...that is if you like games like that.

Really, I don't understand why people want a series to evolve so bad. When I play a Mario game, I'd like to expect certain things out of it. Let me play my unchanged and still-entertaining Mario, and you can play your awesome new and innovative game at the same time. Everyone wins.
Also, cake totally means sex. He's a bit late on that observation, though.

Yes the voices and picture quality was crap, but at least the stories were actually well told - and sometimes emotional (possitive and negative emotions,) now days minus 1 or 2 episodes per season, it's rushed and they can't even keep it in springfield, and it's continued only for the $$$, I think that's what Yahtzee was getting at.Blue-State said:

Well anyhow I agree with Yatzee on this review. The mario franshise is starting to get really really dull, predtiable and boring. Who else wanted to slapped themselves around for a bit???
