The game should have the Imps being friendly and talking to eachother about being soulless sprites in a big "conspiracy-world" where they have to conform to the charicter. It should also have powerups where your costume changes depending on the level or a secret/hidden upgrade.
Bosses... Quick-Time-Event-Boss sounds pretty funny. Also have JROPG boss who has spiky hair and looks like a woman or a very feminie male. Also have one boss being Australia. It takes your accumilated game powers and wont let you use them EVAR AGAIN.
Then have Pyramid Head comming up in one level, waving at the camera, then walking away doing absolutely nothing for the advancement of the mission. Your charicter says, "Wow, was that who I think it was?" "No," Chimmes the Narrorator," Just some sellout that looks alot like him."

Start levels in order of the videos. Start with The Darkness demo, introduce imps, mafia guys and then Jacky boss, who would slowly reload it's shotgun, while imps attack you.
2nd level, go to Albion, kill fresh faced boys parents and burn he's village, while fighting Peter faced imps. And so on and so on!

the final boss should definitely be Mr. QTE, but on the other parts, i think i have some bets.Circusfreak said:

Sorry, but the submission deadline's long past. The results of that contest will be posted next week. Even so, go on ahead and finish it. It's a good learning experience. Of course, make sure that you actually recieve permission for the use of the ZP stuff before posting the game anywhere.fateblade said:

make sure that there aren't any points which are impossible which you have to do again and again until you fluke it, its so bloody annoying.

Whatever you do, the last boss must make you do QTE's until it says "press x to not die," where you say "fuck this," and falcon punch his head.
be ironic and make some platforming sections near impossible to do and make it hard to differentiate between background and ledges
