You do know that there's a game contest, right? Beats me if it's still going on, but at least there was. Why're you starting now, anyway? And I fully expect to battle Peter Molyneux as a boss.
Someone has stolen Yahtzee's last jar of delicious Branston Pickle and has begun insisting that Yahtzee go to the store and buy some, for the realistic experience. Yahtzee then goes on a grand adventure to get it back.
some enemies:
Imps (standard goomba fare)
TV: hooked up to a poorly made game, fires poop at Yahtzee.
Fanboys: Fires soundwaves of impervious love for a game
Shooters: Gamers driven to madness after playing too many violent videogames, fires a gun from behind a chest-high wall
Androgynous Protagonist: This enemy hails from the land of JRPGs. Latches onto Yahtzee, draining health and making him question his sexuality
Powerups:
Tiny Plastic Guitar: Yahtzee feels awesome, can hit a powernote and clear the screen of enemies
Stickle Bricks Shield: Protects against damage for short time
Your Mum: restores Yahtzee to full health (oh yeah)
Employment at Escapist (escapist logo): Enables Yahtzee to fire his Pessimism Beam

Simple. Look at the most popular online games. Find out the sae repetive action you do. Then use a psyco analysis to determine the brains addiction the movements. Then mimic and make a grinding mechanic that all evil corperations use i.e. Blizzard Entertainmen.
And of course make crappy quick time events just to piss off people.
Have the game never give comfort and for every time you fail make it try and convince you to stop with life and just give up breathing as oxygen should be reserved for people that don't suck as much as you, as you make Gennifer Flowers look like (something that doesn't suck, geese I am out of similies. Yeah there is a point. Lots of similies).
And of course make crappy quick time events just to piss off people.
