I come from a world, far away from your own, in which the concept of subjective opinion realms free. This concept allows people within my world to decide for themselves whether they find a game to be "good", based on their own experiences that they can then discuss via a medium such as The Escapist. They made a game which has the ingredients of a winner and made it into fail. The most amazing thing is that the game would be so much better if they simply REMOVED things rather then added new things. Seriously, all they have to do is // some code and get a game that is actually good. This isn't a programming failure, its a design failure and it should be listed as the second worst game of the year. Even the force unleashed 2 wasn't as big a turd.

I was actually going to agree with you on halo reach...and then fable 3...Kane and lynch 2 was a horrible game, but for me Fable 3 and Halo reach truely did kill the franchise for me. I wont buy another lionhead game and won't touch another bungie game because of those 2.

I've noticed how critics say that Metroid Other M had bad acting and made Samus all whiny and submissive, while fans praise its gameplay and say that you're supposed to follow orders from your superior. Here's my question: Why didn't Samus just say, 'But Dad, there's no way my suit's going to protect me from the harsh environment of that planet (or whatever it was). Shouldn't I put on something more protective?' and then reluctantly obey orders if he says no, instead of just blindly going there without being adequately prepared.
