I find it funny when people love Yahtzee when he reviews/hates on a game they've never played and they're ready to defend him no matter what he says, but that one time he hates on a game some of you actually played and liked you start calling him dull, boring etc. It's funny because that's the kind of fanboyism he keeps nagging about. I personaly still like his reviews although he bashed some games I like, most of the time his arguments are actually solid.
Have a god-awful holiday, Yahtzee :)

It's funny, almost as soon as it was released, I saw various opinions (online and in a games magazine) defending TWFC. Now balance is restored to the universe thanks to Yahtzee.

Never heard of this game, but the review was rather entertaining. Good stuff once again.

PS: I'm pretty sure my microwave could kick my stereo's ass. My microwave's a beast.
I would agree here (Our microwave looks like a tank with a glass window in the front) except I don't actually have a stereo.

Yahtzee's going on holiday? I DEMAND EXPIATION!

Joking aside, he (probably) deserves it; what with the weekly video and article, restaurant, space game, and (probably) annoying fans.

Oh look. Another game Yahtzee doesn't like. Yawn.

And let me guess, in his next video after his holiday he won't like that one either! Preposterous I know!

What happened to the reviews that spoke both good and ill of games? Hint: It's not that games have gotten worse.

I didn't even think he would review this, I figured he would know that most of the Transformers franchise was garbage. Sure I liked some of it, but most of it is absolute garbage. He covered that though.

Have you not watched his Shadow of the Colossus review last week? How come you talk as if he's never done some recently good reviews for a game recently? Oh and a videogame with both good and ill comments? That's kind of rare.

EDIT: Make that last 2 weeks that he has reviewed Shadow of the Colossus

I wonder if Y. was expecting this to be a strategy 'cause honestly now, what would you expect for robots fighting with lasers and rockets.

Good game if you ask me, good solid controls...donno why you scraped your head against the pipes but then again I played the PC version so I had a nice mouse to assist me with aiming and controls, I think it's one of those rare games because *spoiler* the ending is actually one where the good guys lose */end spoiler*

As for the characters themselves... really they're robots it's not like they could /care.

It's not such a bad game like you describe it and there's also quite a few giant bosses that you've not mentined (my personal favorite is in the Decepticon campaign where you *spoiler* fly at a huge controll chamber only for it to activate it's defenses and start shooting at you, have lava float up while huge laser doors swing left and right).*/end spoiler*

Oh and you forgot to mention the multiplayer. You also forgot to mention that if not played in co-op at higher difficulty the AI is really bad (the AI that's controling your partners).

PS: I didn't watch the show or anything just played the game.

I enjoyed the game as a fan, but I'm not blind to its flaws. Enemy variety really needed to be stepped up, melee was overpowered, the AI both friendly and enemy was moronic at times, the visuals were.....ok and the overlying story about 'Dark Energon' just didn't cut it for me. Despite that, I had fun playing the campaign and the multiplayer. It certainly wasn't the solid 9 that some reviewers gave it, nor was it a 3. I'd say 5-6 overall, about the same as the PS2 game would get.

Despite that, I've had fun with games that didn't score well critically (Deadly Premonition was so bad it was good), and hated some that got rave reviews (I'm looking squarely at FFIII and MW2 right now). It's all subjective. For me, the game is worth owning, but I'll readily admit I'm a fan.

Edit: I liked Yahtzee's review, no fanboy hate on this front, but let's be realistic here. If we all listened to yahtzee's reviews and based our purchases on them, we'd all own the same 8-12 games each, maybe.

Eastern European Cartoons FTW! Personally I prefer the USSR-Version of Winnie the Pooh, it's closer to the book than the Disney Series. Somewhat.

I love Transformers, but I hated this game, it was an odd mixture of joy pain like masturbating with sandpaper, tried the multiplayer demo and was upset to find that it was in every way, shape, and form a copy of MW2, didn't ever buy it after that, they had already killed my dreams

I'm ashamed of you, Yahtzee. I can't believe you and all of the forum haven't thought that one. (yes, i went through the 9 pages) How can you bash on the silly concept without realizing that they haven't seen, heard, or talk to human yet with all their technology they have they decide to turn into human appliances.

There's good and bad in the game. Thing is, what's good for you isn't good for others. The good would be the multiplayer campaign but it doesn't interest him. Usually, FPS Single Campaign are just a glorify tutorial. Even 3rd Person shooting game are like that.
