You see these people all the time, heading in one direction or another, trying to find safety or go back home, though everybody knows that the living dead are everywhere. Today, I met a stranger on the road, someone different from all the others.
Like all the people I meet, he wouldn't bother with names or telling about himself. However, I DID learn that he wasn't going anywhere in particular. He was just going... He had no expectations of life, no limitations.
He was a drunk and a goofball and a crack shot with a pistol. But as weird and intimidating as he was, he was alright. He told me one thing, though. He said..."I have one goal, and it is this. Out there in this zombie-infested land, there are the last donuts in the world, just going to waste in their bakeries. They won't last forever..."
"...and I will fight tooth and nail for the last one."
