Well...First I would gather together any firearms and weapons I could find (and some protective Armour if it wasn't to slow and clunky), then I would try and gather together what was left of my local community in a headquarters of sorts preferably one with weapons and/or reinforcements while being relatively outside of zombie hot-spots like the center of town. After this was done I would gather up my ragtag group of survivors into a large vehicle, grab all the fuel and supplies I could, and head towards the large cutting edge scientific research laboratory I conveniently happened to hear about while listening to radio chatter. Along the way we would collect all the samples/information about the outbreak and zombies that we could (oh yeah and survivors + supplies I guess). We would of course spend some of our time being introspective, emotioney, learning about each others back stories, and bonding (awwwww). Once we got to the research facility we would try to help clear out any zombies that might be there, protect any surviving scientists, and learn how to combat the green plague(copyright pending). Once we come up with a cure, which we will because I mean come on we're the good guys, we will expand our borders around the research facility and send out patrols looking for more survivors/cleaning up our area. At this point we have basically a pure human city again and can assign jobs to people like agriculture, animal husbandry, medical care, law enforcement/zombie fighters, hazmat cleaners, and teachers of course. Naturally a persons career will be chosen by drawing slips of paper out of a hat and people can learn how to do there jobs by visiting there local library. Hopefully we can create a self sustaining city and branch out from there retaking city by city and since zombies can't really organize we shouldn't have to worry about a fully fledged zombie assault on out colony.
I think that's everything feel free to alert me if I forgot an important detail and toghether we can fight and defeat the hypothetical zombie apocalypse. YAY GO TEAM!
p.s. if someone's loved one gets bitten NO we are not gonna wait and see if they'll be okay or hug them close until they turn into a zombie... we are going to shoot them in the face and bury them only if it's practical.
p.p.s. I'm sure there are more jobs then that that we will need done, but those seemed the most pressing and more will be created the stronger our community grows.
