EDIT: Sweet! People like me. Alright, here comes a character!
Name: Laura Marks
Gender: Female
Age: Late twenties
Appearance: Body of a Bond girl, and a beautiful, gentle face. She's wearing practical form-fitting clothes, and has long light brown hair, startling blue eyes, and painted pink lips. A crowbar hangs from her belt, and she has a quiver full of arrows on her back. In one hand is a bow, and in the other there's a half-eaten pear.
Before: Preceding the outbreak she was a talent scout, who would travel a lot looking for new bands. She had married a musician, but he was often on tour and she seemed to always be out of town on the job. When their schedules did overlap he was abusive; she still had a scar on her right cheek from a point he had made. Her sister had lived in Caiger (should I assume this is the city?) and Laura had come to stay for a while until she found a new place. Other than her job, she loved gardening and archery. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty, but she prefers the grace of an arrow flying through the air at it's target.
After: She arrived in Caiger just as the outbreak occurred. Her luggage was still 'en route' so she only had the essentials with her. Failing to contact her sister, she made her way to the mall, and loaded up on food and arrows.
Emotional State: She doesn't trust people as much as she did before she got married, but she wants to feel she belongs somewhere and regain hope for humanity. She's a little naive; so used to the idealistic views of musicians, but is still tough and resilient.
Odd Traits: She always has her archery gear with her, and keeps a close eye on the food supply. Rather fond of pears and likes to dance.

Larenxis I think you had a spot saved, much like Purple Rain. Although, considering how creepy your obsession with zombies is, we may want to reconsider that... 
Am I able to join? I missed out on the 40k roleplay (that really pissed me off) and would like to take part in a roleplay that dosn't occur because of trolls.

So... I'm a bit fuzzy on the details here. Is John Galt making our bios? Everyone's writing their own. I guess it can be both can't it?
I think everyone started writing their bios before Galt announced that he would be doing all of that for us. Then Swift kinda wrote his afterwards.

He'll probably take what you write about yourself and extend it a little bit. If you don't write a bio, then you'll be at the mercy of the almighty Galt.PurpleRain said:
Also, is it just me or is there a lack of female characters in this roleplay? Larenxis should hopefully be able to fill the void somewhat, but maybe a couple of additional characters lacking a Y-chromosome would help.
