"Laura, do you need more people working on construction, or finding materials? I can fill whichever job you guys need more help on" offers Stompy. He stands where he is, awaiting his instructions...

[The Sorrow]

Maeror grumbled as he found yet another reason why having one arm sucked: nothing to plug his nose with.
"Just help out anywhere you can."
"As far away from me as possible," he muttered.

 

[stompy]

Noticing the cringing of all those around him, Stompy inquired into the possibility of having some water to wash himself with. "It'll be better for me to get rid of the stench now then help out and distract everybody. I'll be quick, and won't use much water."

"I think there's a water pump somewhere off in that direction...."
*Killion points vaguely*
"I'm gonna get going now. For real this time."

Killion walks off.

 

[stompy]

Stompy followed the directions Killion gave him, and eventually found that water pump. After cleaning all the grime, and most (as humanly possible) of the stench, Stompy was getting ready to head back to the main camp, when he noticed something in the shadows.

After noticing it was nothing; merely the wind, Stompy found a few large branches on his way back to the camp, which, if not used for fortification, could be used as kindling. Best to help in whatever way I can, thought Stompy, as he made his way back to the main camp, branches in hand.

Shaz gets to work kicking in skulls.
OOC: Couldn't think of anything better.

 

[stompy]

Stompy gets back to the camp, places the branches near those working near the fortification, and helps the guy kicking in the skulls, as he's the only one doing it. "Um,... hi" said Stompy in a calm, yet uneasy, manner.

?Hi, I?ve seen you around. Make sure to shatter the nose or the temple; it?s the easiest way to damage the brain in my experience.?

"Thanks for the advice. Will do, uh..."

"Sorry, but, uh, what's your name?" inquired Stompy.

Mind also giving me a rough character outline, like skills?

?My name?s Shaz, but most of the locals started calling me Saskwach ever since my last skiing trip. I put on a gorilla suit and ran screaming around the ski resort. Some people reported seeing a Sasquatch and they thought it?d be funny to misspell it badly. Har, har.
I was here on my latest ski trips when the zeds hit, so I guess you could say I?ve been on an extended vacation here. It?s been a wild ride, eh??

"Heh heh, I suppose. Nice to meet you Shaz. The name's Stompy. Don't have much of a backstory. Just kinda popped outta nowhere. Bein' tryin' to survive, like everyone else." replied Stompy, enjoying some company as he did the work.

Crunch.
"That's the way. Surviving, I mean."
Crunch.

"Does everyone realise that crushing the skulls isn't helping? The virus could still be alive unless you set fire to it. That is, if it is a chemical desease."
Rain said looking at everyone maiming the bodies on the ground. What had driven people to this?

 

[Singing Gremlin]

Gremlin was now sitting atop the gates, welding a series of metal plates where the gate looked distinctly weak. The light from the welder had begun to hurt his eyes, but luckily he'd found a pair of darkened goggles that suited the purpose. Once the plates were done, he looked around, puffing pensively. "Spikes, maybe Gremlin?" he muttered "Hmmm, then I would have to be on the outside of the gates. Get a ladder, maybe a watchman." he dropped off the gate and went back inside, emerging once again with a stout ladder. "Gremlin likes military bases" he chuckled to himself gleefully "So many things to steal!"

He set up the ladder so he could get back in, then began collecting suitably spikey shards of metal. Once he had a nice big pile, Gremlin looked up and shouted "Gremlin must do some work on outside gates! Gremlin cannot see zombies nearby yet, but would like someone to keep an eye out, yes?"

Suddenly, the door opened. Two strong arms emerged, and grabbed Johnny from behind, one arm grabbing his good arm, while the other blocked his mouth, and he was pulled in the dark of the room.

"If you scream.... I will kill you" Said a voice, which must have belonged to the man who just grabbed him.

The dark closed, and it looked like nothing had ever happened.
