Sparrow advanced on the Doc. Samuel walked outside the carrier, and he heard one gunshot ring through the air to join the chorus of shots that could be heard outside.

[The wound was neat, and quick. If you viewed Shap from any other side, he'd look as if he was still alive.
He wiped the blood off of his Magnun, and stored it back in his bag. The Doc was a good friend. He'd be sorely missed.
Sam had stepped outside, but Kid was still present. He was obviously distressed. Sparrow placed a hand on his shoulder.]

*A shadow passed over his body, it lingered there, then carried on, leaving shar to grieve*
