*There was a roar from outside as the zombies finished their meal. Andy spun round; The door was still open. She crossed the room, swung her rifle off her back, onto the floor, and lay down behind it. Luckily, Andy'd kept it loaded - she was surprised something like this had taken so long to happen. Having left most of her ammo in her packs, and left her packs by the portal, she only had 15 spare cartidges*

Lying there for a second to catch her breath, Andy remembered what she had been thinking about before she was so rudely interrupted - the group in the APC had been heading towards the Great Lakes, infact, one of them had even mentioned having a lab there.

It was imperative that Andy got to the portal as soon as possible*

And as for the vent....... well...... there is a vent in Chicago, but we'd need to leave the APC behind and crawl. And we'd need to fight to Wrigley Fields. I think it's full of zombie-fans, so it's really an even chance. Either we go to the big one and take forever, or we go to this one and be vulnerable.[/sup]
