Ok, given the rules of the game and considering it happens right now as I type this:...

Few questions though.
Plans in case others possibly stay and board themselves up? Fear and greed are highly dangerous when combined.
A large percent of food in a given household is usually quite perishable, more so when refrigeration and freezers stop working. Plans? =3

I wouldn't just barge in. I try to contact a house before entering. Those that still have people in them will be watched, maybe contacted, but I would be going to their place. I would want to keep my house (security and stock) as unknown as possible.

Meat and other perishables in my house will be consumed first. The same in other houses will be disregarded the day after power goes out. If I'm lucky enough to stumble upon a generator it will be put to use, however I will not count on this until I find it. There will be plenty of nonperishable food available.

As far as weapons go, I'd take my crossbow (silent sniping), my machete, and my African spear.

Sorry about that. Anyway, I would get a boat and put enough food to last for three months in it, along with a good supply of ammo for my 30-30 and my .17. Then I would go out into the lake and relax, going near shore to have fun sniping zombies and to root around for supplies.

I wouldn't leave my house, and why should I?

I actually have reloading supplies - granted I never use them and they where my father's, but it's still complete with everything I need to reload common cartridges. I have a barn, horses, tons of guns, and lots of books. I also have 15 heavily wooded acres, and 8 lightly wooded acres, which will keep my stove going for some time. I have 10 acres cleared around the house on top of a ridge. All the tools I could need (including a nice sized tractor). A generator and around 200 ga of diesel fuel at the place right now. I own several wind turbines, but have not gotten around to actually hooking any of them up. The barn however is fully powered by a mid sized solar array with a decent sized batter system.

I have plenty of space to clear for a farm enough to feed me, and if things go really bad I don't really need four horses (plus four more if the people who have them stabled here don't come to get them when things start getting hairy). I already have a greenhouse, and a pump that pumps from a well on the edge of the property.

Basically I have the high ground and am well armed with a decent supply of food I might never need to leave. Not that I want anyone to think I am purposely being a nut about defense, I just happen to really like guns, and you should see the views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains from my place. Absolutely gorgeous.

I think some concrete walls with airlocks which can be flooded with some kind of flesh and bones melting acid would suffice... Or which can be turned into an incinirator at the push of a button...

I suggest sending out robots to build these.

Well, since I am one of the few survivors nobody's gonna bother enforcing the law to stop me from plundering several thousands of microchips and other electonin components, or have my robots rip apart buildings to use the materials for said walls...
Aside from some zombiefied cops maybe...

Lets see I would pack a backpack with the following:
- 2 Bottles of Water
- 3 packets water proof matches
- a knife
- a map
- a compass
- spare food (crackers, anything with a low perishable rate and easy/small to carry.)
- spare shirt
- a sharpie
- a swiss army knife
- 2 rolls of duct tape

For my weapon I would use a compound bow they're not heavy to cary and about 30-40 arrows bundle them up. Ten I would use a horse to travel. Stay away from heavy populated towns and stick to riding on the grass. The horses hoofs would give off to much sound on the pavement. If I needed to travel into a town I would walk and leave the horse in a safe place. take the Bow, a few arrows, and the knife. Look for stuff I need and survive. you can always make and reuse arrows.

Ok, given the rules of the game and considering it happens right now as I type this:

Going to Wendy's and loading up. Why Wendy's? They'll be there right now and I'm hungry. Then I'm coming back home and pulling the car into the garage (no windows, reinforced doors already).

I'm not leaving town. Why? There is enough food, ammo, and supplies to last me months in my neighbor's houses. Why else? Everyone else will be fleeing. They'll deplete supplies and starve elsewhere. There will be enough left over here due to limited space in their getaway vehicles. Several neighbors will run to the market and die there. This will leave their homes full.

Distractions:
Neighbor's automatic trans cars.
RC Aircraft
Neighbor's animals
Fireworks on hand

Current weapons:
XD40, 500 rounds.
Broad sword (cheap, but it'll take a few down if it comes to it.)

Current armor
Chemical warfare gear including mask. (It sucks, but it'll keep the blood off me)

First priority:
Water - the towers will run out within a couple days. I'd fill a couple large containers I have to give me at least a few days. Beyond this I'd have to venture out.

Second priority:
Fuel - My car's inverter will give me enough power for basic needs.

Third priority:
Plan for large scale controlled genocide of zombies. This will take weeks to plan and put together. Better start sooner than later. This will allow me move more freely once started but will be the most dangerous priority.

Further priorities will come up. Ammo and water will be recurring.

Good plan, only one problem - your plan about staying in town? Not a good idea. Why? Cholera. As well as other diseases. Despite the fact that the zombies apparently won't decay, there WILL be a large number of corpses in urbanised areas, which will create a lot of disease and plague which will most likely kill you in the most horrid way possible.

As for me? Well, I'm a student who lives in tightly-packed student accommodation where blood, saliva, etc, will spread extremely quickly.

I live in the middle of one of the most urbanised areas in England.

I have pretty much no useful weapons or protection other than some juggling knives.

I have not read ANY zombie survival guides, because I reckon there won't be a zombie apocalypse in the first place.

Some plate armor, a gas mask, a poleaxe, and a mace (not the canned variety). They can't hurt me through my armor, can't infect me through the gas mask, and I can make a murder of them with my poleaxe. If it breaks or they get too close, beat their heads in with the mace.

I'm loving the medieval angle (even if finding all the stuff could prove problematic). However, your breathing will be hampered when you wear a gas mask. The average person would be sucking wind hard even after running 1 mile with that thing on let alone with all the plate armor. I can see all this being useful if you are going for a 'last stand' but it's not practical.

As for myself, I'd choose to wear military issue combats as they have plenty of big pockets to store things. I would be vulnerable to bites and scratches but I would still have full movement. For footwear, I'd go for light hiking boots... comfortable enough for me to be mobile for hours but sturdy enough for me to traverse rough terrain.

I'd also wear a tactical vest for storing weapon mags, knives (Swiss army included), first aid kit, flashlights, extra gloves, water canteen etc. I'd have a small backpack with extra socks (if I let my feet become hamburger meat from the constant movement, I won't be able to run let alone walk anymore), t-shirts, underwear as well as whatever dry rations and non-perishables I could get my hands on.

As for weapons, I would want: a machete, a shotgun and a pistol. Anything more and I'm too bogged down to be effective.

Well in this scenario my weapon of choises would be a Sawd-off doublebarreled shotgun and a small caliber pistol. These are the types of zombies that i'm not going to get close to so smallish weapons = running speed. I would also carry a small amount of tools whit me in case i need to set camp or steal a car (wrench, knife etc.) Then i would proceed to my car and drive off from the city and wait in some cottage in middle of no-where for zombies to die off. (I can wait years if i have to and for the food i would simply drive to nearby store and blast couple zombies while im in there)(btw, i live in a country that doesn't have too many people in it so i'm not going to face hundres of zombies in middle of no-where)

Edit: Oh, and a gas-mask would be cool i guess.

all right I did post on the previous one but since you're asking for a more in depth idea here we go...
I'm in fairly good shape as well so I'm basing my carry capacity around 100 pounds.
I already own the three guns I'd take with me and I do keep a fair bit of ammunition for all of them. A Cugir arms PSL, bayonette and 1000 meter scope, and 880 rounds (two spam cans worth), A Winchester model 12 pump action shotgun, 100 slug rounds, and a Taurus Raging bull, 250 454 rounds. This all should weigh in around 65 - 75 pounds.
I'd also bring about 20 more pounds of pasta for emergency food.
two rolls of tp cause when you've got to drop a duce you may as well be comfortable.

My first bet would be to hole up locally, either in a gun shop or in a house with really thick walls. Only engage targets when needed. kill local livestock for further sustainence. Band together with the other people I know with guns and stay alive for as long as possible.

Second bet, In salem county new jersey (about 50 miles from my home) there is an abondoned Radio bunker site (used during the war to maintain communication / survailence in the event of a serious bombing.) I've worked on this site before so I know the combos for the locks. It's rural and easy for me to access. Again banding together with my gun owning friends and survive on local livestock.

My girlfriend recons she would feed the zombies her co workers, managment first.
As for me I would want one of those big air filled hamster balls, you know the ones that allow you to cross water and roll down a hill. Then i can go where ever I like going over the zombies. As said the zombies are slow but strong, so i might set a push in the wrong direction every now and then, nothing was said that the zombies have sharp claws so I should be pritty safe.
