oh and mix up the heroic stereotypes. lets have the next zombie show run by a tall and grizzled butch woman with muscles the size of watermelons and a skinny short and sassy male sidekick.
. And yes, that is a dead cat on a stick. A girl's got to eat, right?

Good grammar.

But seriously. Slow, shuffling zombies that canly be killed through destruction of the brain. Zombie Survival Guide & World War Z style.
Yeah, throw correct spelling in while you are at it.
It'd also be nice if spelling and grammar Nazis would take a hike.
Did you look at the grammar of the OP? Do you want the forum to become that? It would turn the forum into Gamespot! Do you want console wars!? Judging by your post you are telling everyone that you want more console wars and children yelling at eachother. How can you object to such solid evidence except to accept the correct spelling and grammar and accept that you need the grammar Nazis!

Left 4 dead was amazing but i was let donw while in blood harvest you find the lawn mower and the guts all over the wall. What i want to see is the abiliity to use lawn mowers in games like left 4 dead. I think left 4 dead 2 will have it but i would like to see it as a patch for the current game.

I would have said something to contribute, but Max basically said the idea, then built up on it and actually said it better than i would have. I'm kinda half hoping that some developer gets that idea in there head and makes it, rather than 'human meet zombie horde, Zombie horde meet human's cranium' and then 'Human, meet shotgun'
Like you could also have the game start as like a normal world (tutorial or plot driven part) then it shows the outbreak, as it starts to swarm over each country and the panic that ensues.
Then you could have either something going through that ordeal to the cliched 'aftermath' part (which shouldn't kill the atmosphere)
Or you can just have them black out in a safe location (top level of a building) explore for a bit, find the undead, find a gun and then something happens that destroys or makes the 'safe haven' inaccessible and thats where you start building. As Max said.

Max brooks zombies,a kind of mmo or online so survivors are more realistic and you must trust them and such.Choose the country you start in have different perks this would be a kind of server.Canada would have less zombies cause of cold and not very populated,America would have more guns.

Traveling is difficult especially though cities because of the zombies and should be done once you are higher level. The country is a massive sandbox and should be realistic on what the country is.People can send messages by leaving them and eventually you could make a large impenetrable base and fight zombies all day long

You start with basic weapons based on where you start,if you start in a farm you get good melee weapons,if its a city you get a few more guns and supplies. You would have to try and
live with what you have and what you will find, more people is harder to take care of but more secure.

Yeah, throw correct spelling in while you are at it.
Canly is a word, it means can-like.
Ok, I meant can only, but at least I posted an on-topic response, you Spelling Nazi.

Personally, I'd prefer it if the game was more about surviving the zombie outbreak itself rather than saving/looking for some hot chick/family member/random child OR fighting your way out of the city to a happily ever after because there happens to be zombies only in the city you are in OR fighting your way INTO the city to uncover the hidden truth behind the reanimated dead (normally some sinister government body) and then vanquish the Big Bad because you're stupidly heroic that way.

Games tha have "Survival horror" tacked on are appearing more and more like, "Here, have an action game, we're just going to dim the lights and send these screaming monsters at you instead of enemy soldiers." It's disappointing.

Oh! Good zombie AI and variety. I'd love to have myself be torn limb from limb, then come back from an earlier save (if that option is allowed) and not have the ability to go, "Okay. This is where # number of zombies pop out from here, so..."

Someone mentioned a skill tree and I agree wholeheartedly. Start off as the Average Joe and work your way up. I don't know about you lot, but I don't happen to have a shotgun hanging over my bed and the accuracy required to shoot zombies in the head with a side arm. Which I also don't have.

The ability to find other survivors, stab them, hang them from a lamp post and use them to draw undead attention as you sneak away.

Laughing gleefully whilst you do it.

Only 3 things are needed for a good zombie game.

1) Zombies and lots of them (preferably the slow moving shambling types that go "Braaaaaaaaiiiiiinnnnnnsssss!!!"

2) A shotgun

3) A Barry Manilow track playing in the background to ensure your anger lvl is high enough to just keep pumping those shotgun shells into the shambling masses.

what i would like to see is kind of a middle way between those in l4d, RE and DR; slow zombies, that actually do die with one headshot, but way too many to kill with your ammunition, and absolutely deadly if they manage to corner you.

MMO-Zombie with Zombie Survival Guide & World War Z style zombies.

A huge open world with intractable environments were your only goal is to survive. You can meet others and team up but be on your guard as in most post-apocalyptic worlds many people are only out to save their own skins and can betray others for their own benefits. To avoid overcrowded humans it would likely have many separate servers all with decently low population caps.

Basically a FFA MMO much like how ultima worked but with zombies and set in real life.
