Zombie games?

Hey, I heard of the up coming game called Left 4 Dead and i'm probilly going to get the game. What other good zombie games are there for 360 or PC? Not Dead Rising either.

Wasn't there a Land of the Dead game? Zombies to be sure, but the AI is rather bad.

Besides Dead Rising, I cannot think of any, but I have a bone to pick with Left 4 Dead. Frankly, when I think of a zombie game, I think of a slow paced shooter where most of the fear and fun comes from the tension of knowing zombies are everywhere and even hearing their moans. That's what annoys me about Left 4 Dead, its a run and gun shooter, where the zombies are fast and there's ammo everywhere. I think zombie games should be more about survival and less about the action, infact, the game should reward you for avoiding wasting your precious, precious bullets.

ive got to disagree with you on that, in my opinion thats EXACTLY what a zombie game should be. your running and fighting for your life aganist hundreds of the undead wanting nothing more than to eat you alive (watch any zombie movie, there are always at least a few hundred of them). what your talking about is being slow and cautious, great way to get cuaght in a corner and eaten alive, and besides, in a real zombie crisis you wouldnt do that, youd try to get as far away as possible.

and i find it funny that you ***** about left 4 dead and yet praise dead rising, seeing as how thats EXACTLY what dead rising is, action and no slowing down.

I want to see an actual zombie apaocalypse simulator. It should play like condemned with the first person melee with everyday objects. Gathering survivors managing supplies so ya dont starve to death. Keeping your surviovr group organized so ya dont kill each other. That would be fun.

I swear if I was the idiot who came up with the games I would think. Zombies a hardly tapped resoruce. Then again, maybe that's what makes it so specail when a real zombie game comes out(No alien zombies or VooDoo zombies or anything but a virus... bitchin reality).

Bitchin reality sounds like a type of compliment.

I would say Zombie Panic: Source. Granted, I have not played the Source version, only the one run on the HL1 engine. It's a fun game........if you play with people who are not Arsefaces. It's really big on teamwork. Although, L4D looks like you REALLY need to work together to survive.

Ever play Brainbread? HL1 mod. It's actually pretty fun, when the mood strikes you.

Not only are zombies untapped resource, you would think a multiplayer zombie game would have come out by now. Every popular game that has built in multiplayer and some kind of editor(starcraft, Halo 3, etc..) has some sort of "zombie" game where there's a "zombie" who kills another player, and he's a zombie.How easy would it be for Capcom to take Dead Rising, make it so item you drop don't disappear if you wander 30 feet away, and add a human vs zombie multiplayer, with NPC and PC zombies. It might take them maybe another few weeks or so to make a few maps, and they have a really good selling game on their hands.

The are making an zombie apocalypse MMO, except remove the zombie and add a RPG at the end and call it the Fallout MMORPG, and have it never exist because Interplay wnet bankrupt years ago and probably used their money from Bethesda on hookers and blow.


I really hope not, I liked those guys.

Well they're trying at least, that's what they using Bethesda's money for, and in the contract with Bethesda buying the rights to the name they had a special clause saying Interplay scoudl still make their MMO.


I just put clause there to sound smart, I don't know what it was. But the other stuff is true.
